Mimikyu is actually a nice character, their backstory is like this: What does Mimikyu really look like? No-one really knows, but apparently it’s terrifying. Mimikyu wears an old rag (the pikachu costume) to hide wha it actually looks like while it’s trying to make friends.
When I played pokemon moon for the first time I couldnt see mimikyu first. When I turned around and saw I almost screamed, it scared me so much! But now I just think that mimikyu is one of the saddest pokemon to ever exist, I mean it will never be able to show us his real face! And if it does, his trainer dies

Fun fact! On the body of Mimikyu, you can see some black dots, and what are the dots? The eyes! It disguises everything except the eyes because it will be scared of revealing what the original body is so Mimikyu wears a costume so it cannot be scared of others, but after finding out how to disguise, it can transform to other pokèmons or eeveelutions (eeveelutions = what a eevee evolves into)
I realized that the trainer was holding a green ball with a little yellow. I know what that was. That was the Friendly ball, which is normal poke ball, but makes them more friendly.
I like Mimikyu too, but my favorite has to be Torracat. Fun fact, when Mimikyu cycles through pokemon costumes, he's actually cycling though most of my favorite pokemon
