- The drive starts at Kumomi area, Matzuzaki town and goes along Suruga bay with Mt. Fuji hide and seek. Then the car goes up to Nishina pass (897m) , runs through Nishiizu Skyline on the ridge of the mauntains and finally ends at Mt. Daruma.

うわー松崎から西伊豆スカイラインですか！素晴らしいですね！
私、都心よりもこちらの方が地元に近いこともあり松崎も西伊豆スカイラインも何度か走っていて、以前からいずれ動画に撮ってみたいなあと思っていました。
ドライブ系のUA-camrさんも関東近郊ナンバー１の絶景と絶賛している西伊豆スカイライン、今回の撮影は天気もよくて本当に見ていて爽快そのものです。
と言いますか、県道410号から仁科峠のルートを通ったんですね、すごいです！私は無理だなあ(苦笑)。昔、KB1レジェンドで県道17号線沿いに西伊豆を北上した際ですら狭くて死ぬかと思いましたので(汗)
自分が次に行くなら、修善寺からだるま山経由で西伊豆スカイラインに入り、Uターンで戻る感じですかね・・・。
ともあれ本当に素晴らしい動画をありがとうございました！

This drive is a perfect combination between a great coastal ride and a spectacular mountain road. All in a little bit over 1h of driving, must have been great to drive on it, a really must for my next visit to Japan. BTW, my worse fears came to be- Sakurajima actually had an eruption! I only hope the folks living near it safely got away.
Sakurajima(island) is in Kagoshima pref, 2-hour flight fromTokyo Haneda airport.It's located far away fromTokyo area. There
is nothing to worry about the eruption at all .This driving video has been filmed on the road of Izu peninsula, about 200km west of Tokyo.
1:11:24 Mt Fuji can be seen in the distance from the road, but it was not snow-capped as the film was taken in the summer.
