I have one of those MB fuel caps on my Series 2 Rob, wouldn't be without it now. I went for the SIP Vape ignition, really impressed with that tbh.I had a horrible flatspot that went when the Vape was fitted. Close 5 going in this week along with the Casa 5-speed handlebar changer. F-16 shocks with +10 springs too, standard Li150 springs and a disc brake are not fun haha Good times ahead buddy :D

BGM Vape?! Where ya get that. Stoked the see the comparison video. I've had good fortune with the Vape's I have used except the one I put on my Lambretta.
Scooter center sell the bgm version. I've fitted quite a few vape now and on trouble I've had was a coil that didn't retard. Sip sent me a new one and it's all good.
I've got the SIP Vape and the BGM Vape and apart from different boxes they appear to be exactly the same. Hopefully the BGM instruction booklet will be better.
Can you give a rundown on why you purchased a new side case - your thought process on why you needed to buy certain items.I've a li150 and want to know opinions on how to get a well rounded engine .
My son simply fancied a proper expansion pipe. He had a cst3 on his first series 1 and we are hoping for similar character from this sip pipe. The Avanti is really loud and dulls the mid range. That being said, we had it on a dyno and there wasn't a flat spot. It just felt like one. If it was for me I would fit a bgm sport. That has a nice note and feels grunty.
@kickbackgarage thanks Rob, I have an SS200 kit with the af 5 speed and ADS 5 race pipe from chisel speed ... the power band is very high up the rev range.. it's great at low speed but needs to be reved hard trough the gears to get the power band on... then it's a mad thing... I wondered if the avanti st would give more low down power without ringing its nuts off and still rev on into full power
I had a cst3 on my ss240. It might have been down in power compared to a race pipe but it pulled really hard from 3k rpm up till 7200 but that was the end of the party. No problem with a 5 speed box if you gear to suit.
I bought the MB fuel cap. Great idea but I struggle to see the level so not much use to me. The cap fits super tight though so not all bad. I’ve got the CST3 on my imola. Absolutely fantastic pipe. Makes the scooter a pleasure to ride all the way the the gears and Rev range.

I'm running that exhaust on my ts1 250 rob great performance but not the best clearance

Hi Rob is the exhaust change just because the avanti doesn't suit your kit? Or because the avanti is not a good pipe ?
