I've never been a fan of the forklifts in this game. Skidsteers work great for pallets. I use an xbox controller for them, every thing else is wheel and sidepanel.
If you set the bale size to the maximum, they're 50k and they're liftable. I know it's that way if you buy the Quik-Quik baler (the gold one). And it'll run as fast as the tractor will go. I use that with a JD 4320 at 20mph. It's the only baler I use

When you planted the soybeans, you didn't purchase the field info, so I would dare bet it put down fertilizer according to soybeans in the base game. So when you bought the field info the fert was high. So it was fertilized to the point where you didn't need any fertilizer. Great video and awesome series.

Soybeans leave nitrogen in the soil
Legumes like soybeans have a symbiotic relationship with nitrogen(N) fixating bacteria. Secretions from roots draw these bacteria to a Root zone called a rhizosphere. Bacteria fixate N into nodules on the roots that are left behind. We always plan on about 1 pound of N per bushel of yield for “credit” when figuring next season N requirements. Important to note studies do seem to indicate this process runs out of steam at about 55-60 bushels per acre yield.

Why don't you plant some sugarcane since the fields are smaller on this map?
Just because the field is small doesn’t mean we plant sugar cane!
