So, I meant for this to be out on Halloween but it took longer than I thought it would...oh well. Anyway, this is the first pmv in a brand new set... The hit Broaday musical Wicked (This one I'm actually going to do, I swear it!) Admittedly I can't take all the credit for this my sister Bridleway462GHA came up with the Idea to make Elphaba - Starlight, and Glinda - Trixie after the season 6 finale, but since she already made this song with Sunset and Twilight from EQG, (I'll post the link to that pmv below) we agreed that I can make this set with Starlight and Trixie. Now, first of all I will not be making every song in this set due to my cast not having enough scenes for some of them (Like "Wonderful"), but I will try to get done as many as I can. This is going to be fun. Since this is a long set I'm going to reveal why I cast certain people as the set goes along. Also the songs will not be done in any particular order. Now onto the casting...
Starlight: Elphaba (Super resilient and tough, is extremely gifted with magic, wants to get revenge on the people that have wronged her, people think of her as "evil", plus she looks up to the Wizard (Sunburst in this case) her entire life only to find out he's not who he says he is)
Glinda: Trixie - (arrogant and full of herself, values popularity, but still supportive of Elphaba through hard times)
The Wizard: Sunburst- (Yes Sunburst isn't evil but both him and the Wizard pretend to be an "important wizard" because they're afraid to reveal they're unsuccessful frauds)

Love that part at the end when Shining traps her in that crystal and she just blasts her way out of it. Really gives the impression that she's not letting ANYONE stand in her way!
WOW! You know, it was about time someone did something like this with Starlight and Trixie. When I saw the thumbnail and title, I was wondering: wait, they both succumb to magic so who's Elphaba? Starlight made a lot of sense especially when you showed Sunburst as the "wizard" and Starlight literally "defying gravity." Besides, Starlight is also a political villain wanting to change the world but goes about it the wrong way. Trixie would just be an evil overlord looking out for herself (anyone else wondering what would've happened if they had met while they were still villains?).
I feel like this song is a "rite of passage" for us PMV makers, because we all end up making one of these at some point. Really awesome job with the clips and syncing!
Let's face it, who DOESN'T end up eventually doing Wicked?

Oh my goodness. this is perfect characterization. I can't believe I didn't think of it before. Trixie perfectly matches Glinda's egotistical, but good at heart personality. Starlight reflects Elphaba's introverted personality and magical talent as well as her status as a villain. Sunburst matches the Wizard's facade of great magical ability. I can't think of better ponies to represent these characters. 10/10 best thing ever!

Aaaaaaaah, THAT WAS SO AMAZING!Starlight and Trixie DO make a good fit for these two! I LOVED your choice of scenes, including how you made Starlight in her old hairstyle her "wicked" self! (I don't know if that was un purpose or not, but still was a nice touch!)Can't wait to see the rest of your set! :)

Nice job! Although I see Sunburst as Fiyero, Twilight as Glinda, and Trixie as Nessarose. I still love the video though.
I can see how you see Twilight as Glinda but Trixie matches her more personality wise. As for Fiyero, Mwahahaha! I have the perfect character in mind for him!

Wait actually, maybe I should change my Wicked au to have Starlight as Elphaba instead of Sunset. Having Sunburst as Nessa would still work and it would make more sense because I had cast Discord as the Wizard and Chrysalis as Morrible

+Geo Wiz Who's playing Fiyero? I know you ship Trixie and Starlight but Trixie is Glinda and Sunburst is the wizard. I'm thinking it's Spike, but I could be wrong.
If Sunburst is The Wizard then who would Fiyero be?
