"Me....HAM!" The contestant delivered that line perfectly (she sounded a bit like Vivian Vance)...very smart, poised lady...Carol's explosion into laughter was priceless, and King was terrific.....I can see that sequence 100 times and still laugh...

First I'll say here that this is one of my favorite episodes of password that I can remember (and who else has been binge watching these on UA-cam like me over the past week!) Next I'll say that in the lightning round two clues in particular were genius on the part of Carol Burnett: " don't" for "do" (DEW) and Gibraltar for rock

Interesting side note on that first boy on this episode. I did a google search for the name 'John Koskinen" and password and I think he is this man: www.wikiwand.com/en/John_Koskinen This person lived in Ashland, KY, like mentioned. If it is him, he went on to become the 48th Commissioner of the IRS (from 12-23-13 until 11-12-17). If this is the correct person, despite the fact he looks 12 here, he was actually 24 at the time this aired. Anyways, if this is the correct person, he is still alive (as of September 22, 2019) and is currently 80 years old.

If this helps any, Lloyd Bridges was only on the show during on week of appearances. These aired March 7-11 1966 and the other celebrity was Florence Henderson. I also did a search just now and was unable to find any clip of the time Lloyd Bridges was on. I did this search on 09-22-19.

Someone made the same comment on another show, you don't see it unless you really look, but quite a few celebrities smoked on this show. I saw Gary Moore when he paired with Carroll and Peter Lawford. And that was from watching about a dozen shows.
What is more interesting is the clothing worn by contestants, especially on the night time shows....borders on formal.

I think from watching this episode, and others when she was on, that Carroll Burnett would have been a pretty fair game show host. She does a very good job remembering and pronouncing the names of contestants. Her only drawback is she would be too "bouncey" to host a game show. I wonder if she ever had a skit on her show that depicted an overly enthusiastic game show host.

@@safepethaven Exactly.. This is a question that I tell young people to ask themselves-- "How will this make my life better?" It is a simple question- but few people ask themselves it before engaging in potentially harmful behavior. I never smoked or did drugs, because it would not make my life better. That being said, I do have drink every so often, but only in a social occasion. With the pandemic, I haven't had a drink in MONTHS.
