I'm half Turkish actually! My mom was born in Izmir and I grew up between Izmir, Istanbul and Hamburg (Germany).
I can only imagine how it must feel like moving to Turkey coming from Holland!

My first trip to Turkey was during August of 2019 and I simply fell in love with Bodrum! The people, culture, scenery and the relaxed lifestyle.
I went back during October of 2020 and stayed for 21 days. I'm so sorry that returned to California! I miss Bodrum so badly that I am now in the process of preparations to make the move and live in Bodrum permanently. Don't listen or be influenced by western depictions of Turkey and Turks. It has a rich culture, the most hospitable people. Food is simply AWESOME (the entire region, Iran, Greece, most middle eastern neighbors all have outstanding food). Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Turkey. You WILL LOVE IT! Bunu gönderdiğiniz için teşekkürler kardeşim.

60 omg i can some what relate somewhat i lived in Los angeles all my life now in the midwest country side which is so different less populated stores are small I'm still in the same country but yet so different we have No beaches winter is longer summer is so stinking humid i miss tropical weather i miss palm trees but plus side midwest is economically is definitely inexpensive California was kray kray expensive 😬😬😬
My husband is also a chef! The hours are definitely long. It’s nice being married to a chef though, because home cooked meals tastes like you’re eating out at a fancy restaurant. 🥰 How did you and your husband meet? Great video, I enjoyed watching. 💗
