    Neymar is truly the last player that is the embodiment of joga bonito and Brazilian flair, his kind no longer exist sadly mainly due to how football nowadays works and is played where its a system. long shots and skills moves are seen as weakness and are a Big No no from many managers.

    FACTS MOOKIE. We see EVERYWHERE in every sport the decline of talent & hard workers. There's outliers of course of legit talent & hard working athletes. But it's rarer than ever. Also every sport is making the game more offensive which inflates these modern players stats and have fans today calling legends scrubs or played against "farmer or plumbers". There's a sad decline in sports around the world in general.

    • @paquinraino8180
      @paquinraino8180 Місяць тому

      No, y'all just being dramatic. Because if you watch well they ask more and more from the players, skillset wise and athletic wise, as if they don't understand humanity has limits. see how much more games players in multiple games play compared to before. Also with internet people can see more and more the flaws of today's players and with nostalgia they forget the flaws of past players

    • @commonsensei9772
      @commonsensei9772 Місяць тому

      @@paquinraino8180 Wrong. The game is more robotic and tactical than ever before. Pep at City will bench his wingers or any other player if they tried skill moves. This kinda mentality is happening now at youth level. Hence why we don't see flashy, flairy players much often anymore. Like I said Neymar type of players is a dying breed. The only thing I agree on is about the amount of games played. Way too many and it's indeed impacting the players health/performance.

    Guys, I recommend you find a video that talks about “GINGA” from Brazil and how the Brazilian players incorporated that in football (soccer), being King Pele the first one to show the world about it. To give you a hint GINGA was formed mainly by slaved people in Brazil and you can find traits of it in Samba and Capoeira… and in Brazilian football it’s the main ingredient for the famous Brazilian “Jogo Bonito” (Beautiful game or play).
    Your videos are great men, congrats !!!

    I can say the same about South African football we had our own style we use to dribble. We even played Brazil in 1996 they were World champions we were champions of Africa we lost the game 3-2 . Today we play like the Europeans and lost our identity but slowly the new manager understands we need to go back to our way

    The emberrassing downfall began and they get worse every year that passes. Coaches of today don't let the players to have fun when playing. They're on a leash and football have never been more boring than it is right now.

    For someone who watched the game since the 90’s, IMO Brazilians used to play the game with ‘’Joy’’. I don’t see that joy anymore at least in the last 10 years.
    There is nothing unique about the Brazilian team no more. They had their own style of playing back then that is very unique for them.
    Doesn’t matter what team you supported, people always were looking forward for the Brazilian team to play back then !

      Are you implying that humans just collectively got worse at football for some reason ? Even though more people than ever play the sport ? A talent pool containing hundreds of millions of players but there's a lack of talent ? I've been watching football for almost 30 years and the game has changed sure, but the idea that humans just randomly lost their football talent or that an ENTIRE generation just lacks talent sounds like complete bs to me, that makes no sense.

    Vini and Rodrygo are supposed to be the next in line after Neymar but they aren’t no where near as good personally I’m starting to feel like they are system players now they need a certain system to operate cause look at Neymar he can drop Dee his passing is elite and can playmake Vini on the other hand really can operate on the flank he can’t go into midfield and start passing the ball around and playmake like Neymar

    Hé explained how Brazilian football became bad but not why. It’s about too much structure.
    Of course structure is good. You need to know how to play, to know strategy, how to move in your position and which others. But to much structure kills creativity because you need to be in a box.
    If in France, coaches forced Wemby to be a 5 and just go in the paint. We would never grow to be the player we know today.
    Children need creativity to express things differently. It’s a problem in football but also in basketball nowadays. Coaches, institutions and structures are too present and too stiff. And that stiffness was very present in weurope but less in South America and Africa. So children were allowed to play the way they felt with flair oàd sometimes to impress 😂. It now, it’s everywhere. Everything is about maximum efficacity and stats.
    The love of the game.e and the fun is sucked out of it

    You know Neymar's whole career for Brazil was low-key ass not because he was bad but rather because he was carrying mid to trash players but got ALL the blame when the team lost, although he was always THE best player in the team he also got ALL the blame for others players mistakes no obv something like this would make you not have passion and not want to focus on the international side anymore since you know it's always the same outcome. You play Amazing your team loses and you get all the blame.

    Our grandparents had stories about how great Brazil was with that Pele generation, our parents told us about Zico , Socrates and that 80s generation and I grew up with the 90s early 00s generation of R9 , Rivaldo and Ronaldinho, it seems our children will not have similar stories to tell their children and that tells you how low Brazil has fallen , the talent is still there but the attitude changed from the love of beautiful game " Joga Bonito " to the love of money and arrogance, Neymar & Vinicious being prime example of that .
