Gespenst still rocks in humanoid size. Gotta respect the Ultimate Gespenst Kick. I like the battle cry when Phantom comes in to assist -- "Call, Gespenst" - Haken Browning
I mean the Gespenst was originally powered suit for Gilliam back in its very first appearance in Hero Senki before it became a mech in later games so wouldn't surprise me if it being human sized in Endless Frontier is a nod to that.
The main theme throughout the series is "Crossing Over Time" ("Toki O Koete"). "Time To Come" is officially the Gespenst's theme song, though it's also used for characters/robots that debuted in the fourth game including Huckebein and Grungust, simply because the song was first used in that game. And even though Gespenst actually debuted in Hero Senki: Project Olympus, back when it was just a suit of powered armor worn by Gilliam (which they actually make a shout-out to in Endless Frontier).
I just love how Haken Browning from endless frontier was more or less modelled after this mech. The two of them really look like awesome partners... ooops spoiler.
I love the gespenst because 1: You can pretty much equip the mech with any weapon. 2:Its a powerhouse when you raised all of it's stats and weapons to full power 3The jet magnum, and the gespenst kick owns!
The type R is a prototype, so it doesn't have the jet magnum. The type TT is a test type for psicodrivers, so it it replaces the type R and TT with beam swords on the arm.
2: Its a powerhouse when you raised all of it's stats and weapons to full power What is not a powerhouse when you raised a unit's / character's stats and weapons to full power....
TBH, the most painful iteration is that the entirety Shadow Mirror DOES NOT know how to jet magnum. All Shadow Mirror Gespensts just have slash rippers, and we dont' even get that many slash rippers. It's dumb.

My favorite battle theme in the game! My favorite part is 0:41 that's really great!
Still rocks at the Nintendo DS limited audio library. Tho I would love an arranged version of this one.
Needless to say it's amazin' anyways.

The best version of 'TIME TO COME' instead it's labelled as 'TIME TO GO'
They remixed the heck out of this song, I couldn't even tell it was Kyosuke's theme
@90sHeroMAXD Maybe's because of the anime Patlabor...if you saw it,i think in the movie there's a destroyed black mecha that resembles Gespenst.

Oh, Ultimate Gespenst Kick... I love it, so cute ha ha ha
The only downside of the EF version is that you don't get the nice shouting to go along with 'ULTIMATE GESPENST KICK!!!'
2: Its a powerhouse when you raised all of it's stats and weapons to full power
What is not a powerhouse when you raised a unit's / character's stats and weapons to full power....
Speaking of Jet Magnums, I've always wondered why half the variants (R, TT, ect) can't use it when its right THERE ON THE ARM?
