No doubt David is a beast. I became good friends with Ben Meyer and Richard Bateman, my band played some shows with Nasty and Ben and Richards side band Gardy Loo. Stayed at Richard's parents house in Tampa for like 2 weeks one time I had amnesia after that 🤣🤘🏼☠️🎸
Ben Meyer is likely one of the coolest guys in the underground music scene. Nasty Savage was one of the first "local" Metal bands I followed and supported so long ago. Was in my beginning years as a bass player from Fort Myers. Years later, I made a jump from Fort Myers to Tampa for college. I met Ben and the guys from Gardy Loo when I was doing a fan zine called "RAGE". Inspired by a Georgia based all girl punk band called "Stage Fright". They opened for Gardy Loo at the Mug. During their performance they handed out some little zines called the Stage Fright Review. As an art student at the time, I saw the potential in doing a zine. I met Ben after their show and hung out a bit. Was looking to bring my band "Null and Void" up from Fort Myers as there was a much bigger metal scene happening in the Tampa area in those days. Ben was so cool and sat with me for a while. Gave me the run down on places to go, people to know and even introduced me to Apple Studios. In a round about way he helped me salvage my band as my move to Tampa came close to ending things. Apple Studios and the connections Ben gave me helped us make the leap to Tampa. I started my zine and included Gardy Loo in every issue I created. Ive actually done two zines ( RAGE: a movement underground & The Barfly Review)over the years using a Ghost writer name. Had I not gone to that show, things would have been very different for many years. Ben Meyer is truly one of the coolest human beings and musicians Ive had the privilege of meeting. Not only is he a Great person, he is a fantastic musician with a great sense of humor. Its really cool that Nasty Savage started popping up in my recommended. Its a small world. Hope you are doing Great Ben Meyer.
Man!!! David is such an unappreciated guitar player. He’ll always be a top shedder in my book.
Very technical players.

Thanks to Death & Obituary putting me onto this local band..#LetTheMetalFlow
Their debut album is a molten Metal classic! I was 15 in 1985 and bought it on Vinyl, kids!🤘
I wish Curtis was still in the band
1985 these fine folks are my neighbors
Savage at Side Streets! Brandon Fl. Fuck yeah!
Absolutely insane. Still have it all on vinyl. I have a picture of Curtis’s drum set he sent me and some letters from Nasty Ronnie
Great gig but I missed the songs from "Indulgence"... Only XXX at the end... Stabbed in back or Incursion Dementi would have been killer!
I was there!! Great show
Scott Carino on Bass?
If that bass was any higher he would be strangling himself
Fucking awesome. Roll on the new album.
That's a beautiful drumset!
