I really enjoyed this video, having looked after State Highway asset data for 16 years. The issues with streetlighting and asset ownership are pretty much the same here in New Zealand, especially since the economic reforms of the late 1980's and early 1990's that saw power boards and municipal electricity departments made into profit-making companies. The thing that I enjoyed even more though is Ari's commitment to doing public good. So often in the data community the phrase "using data for competitive advantage" is used. I prefer using data for co-operative advantage.
