Yellowstone had such potential with good actors and scenery but the characters were all unlikable and storylines unbelievable. But I still look forward to whatever Kevin Costner makes next.
Our economy is afflicted by uncertainty, housing troubles, foreclosures, global shifts, and the aftermath of the epidemic, all of which contribute to instability. To restore stability and drive growth, all sectors must urgently address rising inflation, slowing GDP, and trade disruptions.
The US dollar is losing value due to inflation, while other currencies are gaining strength, creating uncertainty. Nonetheless, many people remain confident in the Dollar's perceived safety. I'm concerned that my 420K retirement funds may lose value, therefore I'm looking for other financial stability.

I don’t blame Costner alone for any of it, but the guy has a seriously troubled history of working well with his director. He certainly has a creative ego. At some point you do have to acknowledge he’s part of the problem, even if he wasn’t the catalyst in this situation. But the director certainly took on too much without being willing to delegate enough.

Can't wait to watch Horizon. What a great actor and great man. It's too bad Sheridan had to let his ego get in the way because Yellowstone is nothing without Costner.
Let's just say that it's a profession that demands a higher amount of ego, and stubbornness to actually get these projects done. Not for the timid. Sheridan probably thought that Costner wouldn't bail on him. He was mistaken...
@@garyspence2128to be fair Sheridan has to many projects going on right now. He has like 4-5 shows out. Hard to get seasons out fast when you are writing for 5 current on air projects and Costner didn’t want to wait years at a time between seasons.

Well, the writers strike and then the actors strike really held up production. Then Costner and Sheridan were trying to come to an agreement about Costner's schedule. I'm honestly kinda bitter that he couldn't wrap up the final season.
I cant believe when i was a kid i absolutely loved waterworld... now as an adult i absolutely love yellowstone. I dont know if ill watch it without him. Ill give it a shot, but i doubt ill like it as much.
Meh, Yellowstone jumped the shark in like season 3. Just got too outside of any possible reality. Gigantic shootouts where they all get away with it, etc.
And Beth surviving that explosion and only getting burned on her back lol. In reality, all they would've found of her is pieces. And Taylor Sheridan started putting too many irons in the fire with other spinoffs. And as a result of this, the writing for Yellowstone suffered. I didn't even finish watching season 4 because the writing got so mundane.
I hope to work with him in one of these days,a great Thespian, his a Living Institution. His body of work;continues to echo, long after the credits have stopped rolling.
So basically Kevin said, "Keep the SAME schedule as the first four seasons, because I have other stuff I want to do." Taylor said, "no". So Kevin had to walk away. I think Taylor thought Kevin would not leave and tried to call his bluff and well, Kevin called it.
@doNaldMusk-h28-hfkslP18 Yellowstone turned to crap years ago, and it's not Costner's fault. Sheridan spread the franchise thin and the quality dropped on the original show.
Exactly right Daryl! Sheridan killed this great show and he expected other people to sit around waiting for him to write. A true knucklehead who’s crashing because of ego.
Kevin you are a very smart man and I respect your opinion and reason for leaving. I admit I will miss you even though I could never get past the first episode because I just wanted to see you and not so much the show lol! I saw you in Cabo well after I had already crushed on you over your wolves movie… I even admit to being ashamed to admit you are a single man now because I believe in family and commitment. For what it’s worth I want you to know this. I am a 63 year old woman divorced after a 30 year marriage…single because I’m a lot like Beth and can’t find the right man for me. Good luck to both of us.
I've always loved kevin and been a huge fan of his, i will always continue to be. However. Although I understand his commitment to his goal in horizon and how much he was invested in it. Me and my family and friends were also invested in yellowstone. Primarily because of Kevin, but not entirely. Because we fell i love with all the charectors within the show. I felt completely let down and seen a very selfish side of kevin. I'm upset because I know the show had to change it's entirety because of it. I can't help but see it as kevin being the only issue of its hiatus and death of a very much beloved show that I will miss 💔
Taylor Sheridan has become a cancer to his own shows. You could say it's a fluke with just Costner but now... with Tulsa King and Stallone too? Hes a clown.
I don't think Taylor had much of a hand in the creative on Tulsa King. And yes, it was goofy. I believe they got rid of the showrunner though, so season 2 should be different.
Honestly I don’t even want to watch it without Kevin. His character is too monumental to lose. I’ll give it a try because I like Rip and Beth but idk if they can carry the show.
I really miss his character all ready I will definitely watch Horizon. I hope season six is the end of yellow stone Taylor has an ego that can’t see the big picture u can’t expect to keep actors in lock down for years playing a character why not kill your darlings or game of throne it.

The watching option/when streaming is available for season 5 part 2 or (I.e. part B) are really confusing. Please make it simpler if you don’t have cable 😣
You gave Paramount and Sheridan ENOUGH of your time, Kevin. And they did not respect that, so it’s their loss. You made the right decision. I’m excited to see you complete your Horizon saga.
I feel like the Yellowstone universe just spread out to far and too fast that it started to dilute the main flagship show. 1883 was a masterpiece however, I feel like them branching off shifted focus where Yellowstone has just turned into one large soap opera as well as 1923. Hopefully it gets better because I'm currently not very excited for either of these shows.
Kevin Costner explains his decision to leave Yellowstone. He could at least finish an episode so the series can continue and conclude. It would be more polite to his audience.
Yeah but when does that episode get filmed when there is no script and no dates? What's he going to do continue to sit around waiting for when sherridan wants to film that episode. Clearly looking from a me perspective and no from his perspective
He clearly said he wouldn’t break contracts he had with others. I know there aren’t a lot of examples in Hollywood or politics, but there still are things called contracts, morals, and integrity. He should trash these so you can feel “ good?”
@@stormlakebobcat9058 I'm not saying he owes anything to the fans, but a little respect for those who supported the show wouldn't hurt. After all, it's the fans who contributed to its success. Get over yourself a bit.

Absolutely love Kevin Costner in Yellowstone… thank you for existing and the work you do in entertainment!!!
Will miss him big time. But he has certainly earned the right to make any decision he wants.
Exactly! Yellowstone did not stay on track. It was completely sidetracked by the writer strike and scripts. Not being ready when Costner was ready and people can’t work just once a year that’s unrealistic and just not even sustainable.. and Kevin Costner has his own hopes and dreams. And it’s been a dream of his to make the horizon series for 30 years. He believes in striking when the irons hot. And the iron was hot a year ago! So he made horizon one because Yellowstone scripts were not ready they were messing with his money who can blame the man. Don’t we wish that Mr. Costner could’ve stayed with Yellowstone.? The powers that be should’ve made that happen wasn’t his fault. he made it clear. He still do it, but it has to fit his schedule.

Do Whatever makes you happy, Kevin. It's your life, your decisions 😅
Been hooked on all his movies since water world as a kid ..if Kevin is the movie or show it’s gold for sure
Open Range was his best movie.
That was a great movie with Robert Duvall... I've seen it a bunch of times..
Great movie! I agree with robert those 2 were something else.
Good film, but for me it will always be Dances with Wolves

First of all I really have to thank Kevin Costner for bringing back Western Genre Movies! Dances with Wolves, Open Range, Horizon. Great movies!
It's going to be hard to watch Yellowstone without Kevin🙁 But I'm going to continue watching because I Love Rip and a few other cast. And I gotta check out Horizon.
Will miss Kevin in YS !! I always look forward to seeing him make his stoic appearance.
I'm going Sunday with my wife to see Horizon. Haven't been to movies in awhile but it looks promising!
Kevin's participation in Yellow gave Sheridan the clout and legitimacy to go on to other projects with big name actors. He is blessed that Kevin promoted his project and should have given a definitive end point for him to go on with other things.
This is the first bit of info that I’ve seen that actually makes sense.
Will miss him in Yellowstone 😊

Blame Taylor Sheridan for taking too long writing Yellowstone scripts.
Sorry he likes doing a good job u like Costner
@@UNoWhoitis23 if only he did a good job. You can’t argue the fact that the quality has gone down which coincided with the increasing workload he put himself on.

Well, I guess I stop watching Yellowstone and start watching Horizon then. Thank you Kevin for the great 5 seasons of Yellowstone, great stuff.
Respect for KC in this matter.. an unfortunate ending for Yellowstone as it will be missing a pivotal part. 🇨🇦

Yellowstone had such potential with good actors and scenery but the characters were all unlikable and storylines unbelievable. But I still look forward to whatever Kevin Costner makes next.
Beth gets on my nerves a lot
I can understand that. honorable answer.

I love westerns and these horizon movies could be some of the greatest westerns ever made. 🥳🥳🥳
costner always been underrated
I don’t blame Costner alone for any of it, but the guy has a seriously troubled history of working well with his director. He certainly has a creative ego. At some point you do have to acknowledge he’s part of the problem, even if he wasn’t the catalyst in this situation. But the director certainly took on too much without being willing to delegate enough.
I absolutely love you Kevin Costner!! 💜💜
Thank you for your infinite love and support you have consistently shown me in such difficult moments. I'm forever grateful. I really appreciate your unconditional love to me and every effort exerted by you to cause a change.. Where are you watching from?
Can't wait to watch Horizon. What a great actor and great man. It's too bad Sheridan had to let his ego get in the way because Yellowstone is nothing without Costner.
Kevin is the one with the inflated ego
Let's just say that it's a profession that demands a higher amount of ego, and stubbornness to actually get these projects done. Not for the timid. Sheridan probably thought that Costner wouldn't bail on him. He was mistaken...
@@garyspence2128to be fair Sheridan has to many projects going on right now. He has like 4-5 shows out. Hard to get seasons out fast when you are writing for 5 current on air projects and Costner didn’t want to wait years at a time between seasons.
@mamaw757 🥱😴
Going to miss him. But yellowstone is a world unto its self. Sure i will be happy with the outcome

Yellowstone went the fast and furious route basically after season 2 and went wildly silly lol
Show has been dragging out the past few seasons. Should have ended it a long time ago. I have zero interest in a new season
Exactly. The show was basically over after Danny Huston's character was killed off.
Yup. The amount of deaths and no one is in jail or even arrested is crazy. They are like the mob on horses
It was extremely cheesy after season 1
@@seashackf1😂😂
Do not watch the final episodes youve all been warned
Ya know what.. Good on you Kevin. Happy for you buddy 👍
Kevin tu es le meilleur en TOUT ❤️👍
Well, the writers strike and then the actors strike really held up production. Then Costner and Sheridan were trying to come to an agreement about Costner's schedule. I'm honestly kinda bitter that he couldn't wrap up the final season.
❤️
😂 if you want reality just live your life….
I hope to work with him in one of these days,a great Thespian, his a Living Institution. His body of work;continues to echo, long after the credits have stopped rolling.
Still can't wrap my head around the fact that John Dutton is gone from Yellowstone. it just doesn’t feel the same without him.
Love your music and the movies your voice is amazing
I saw you in Cabo well after I had already crushed on you over your wolves movie…
I even admit to being ashamed to admit you are a single man now because I believe in family and commitment.
For what it’s worth I want you to know this.
I am a 63 year old woman divorced after a 30 year marriage…single because I’m a lot like Beth and can’t find the right man for me.
Good luck to both of us.
Yellowstone is shite without Costner. He was the reason I started watching the show.
It's too bad they couldn't accommodate the lead character of Yellowstone just a bit after Kevin gave 4 Seasons! No loyalty whatsoever shame on Taylor.
The first Horizon was outstanding really really enjoyed it.
Respect! Horizon will be epic
It's not its 3hours of boredom
@@callumpaine4497 disagrees saw it, can’t wait for the second one. I like those types of films so it’s a preference thing 🙂

2:47 what about your audience for Yellowstone? I just watched season 5 episode 9 and you were not in it?!
They black balled him.
They made sure he had speed bumps
I really miss his character all ready I will definitely watch Horizon. I hope season six is the end of yellow stone Taylor has an ego that can’t see the big picture u can’t expect to keep actors in lock down for years playing a character why not kill your darlings or game of throne it.
Hi I just wanted to thank you again for being so supportive and following me on my journey. I love inspiring and encouraging others. People like you help me to keep showing up! Hope you are having an amazing day!
It's terrible. Yellowstone wouldn't be the same without him. I still hope he'll be in at least one-two episodes and they'll finish the series.
I guess the'll just say he's off in Helena being Governor while the last bunch of episodes focuses more on what's going on at the ranch.
Horizon 1 flopped So hard at the box office, the rest is all cancelled now.
@@g35hunkers Yes.
Costner owes nobody a thing. Let alone the fans. Get over yourself 😅
@@stormlakebobcat9058 I'm not saying he owes anything to the fans, but a little respect for those who supported the show wouldn't hurt. After all, it's the fans who contributed to its success. Get over yourself a bit.
Without him am not watching this series anymore, he is yellow stone...
Now that Horizon has bombed perhaps he will reconsider Yellowstone..
They already announced season 5 is the last season. So no chance.
They should have worked around him and hud schedule. Everyone knows he was the key player. The audience wants him and he wants to be there for the audience. Everyone else is just making money off him and all of us… the audience.
Horizon ended up being a flop 😂😂
I love Yellowstone, and the John Dutton character. It is completely unfortunate for the viewers, and for the other actors, but all series come to an end. I will most certainly watch the second half of Chapter 5, and hope that it will maintain its popularity with myself, and other fans as well. Really looking forward to watching Costner’s other project Horizen as well. Huge fan of cowboy stories and westerns.
Incredibly disrespectful to the fans of Yellowstone, honestly, to just give it up this easily. He says that these 4 movies he's making are gonna live forever - my man, Yellowstone was on the verge of going down as one of the greatest TV shows in history, that's living forever for 'ya. In 15 years chances are that people won't be talking much about Horizon. You blew it with Yellowstone, what an absolute shame.
So disappointed in him to not have more respect for his fans to atleast finish season 5😢

Sorry but Kevin Costner is being a dick. Before Yellowstone his career wasn't exactly going well. He signed up for a TV show with a contract with a shooting schedule. We all gave this show a chance that honestly no one expected to be good. Then once his career was back on track he abandoned the show with no real conclusion. Dick move.
I hope he knows and reads this that HE made and WAS YELLOWSTONE!!!
