One of the most top-ranked point guards in NBA history. If he hadn't fall out with his coach, he wouldn't have been abandoned by NAB. But fortunately, he has had his new life and successful basketball career in China. He has gained people's respect that he didn't in US through his effort and change. Good for him!
Didn't get the recognition when he played because he played with alot of great guards from that era but he was definitely one of the best guards to play during the late 90's and early 2000's.... my personal favorite player hands down...
Tot pr could have been a hall of famer. In a league with prime Kidd, Nash, Iverson etc he was considered the best PG for years. Definitely not underrated. Again, he could have been a HOFer. His problem was his attitude. To this day he thinks he’s responsible for the t wolves success over what KG did. He jabbers about them making the playoffs for the first time ever during his rookie year but that was because of KG, not him. Great player but he was full of himself. And to the OP - to this day there was a no better duo to watch than KG and Marbury as a kid, but Marbury was and is a nut job.
The real BALLERS dont get they recognition, because everybody rated by "rings", only because of Jordan, and even your GOAT, said out of his own mouth, after Minnesota beat that ass, that he, Air Jordan, said, "I couldnt do anything with Marbury, he was so fast". But hey, nobody counts that right?
YOSEF NASSI YASHARAHLA If you can’t win what’s the point? The best of the best find a way to win a ring, Jordan took it into his own hands to do it 6 times, and may have gone for more if he didn’t retire.
NASSI IS CHOSEN basketball is a trash a$$ sport anyways just another slave ticket to be punched in. And Jordan is the gsoat GREATEST SLAVE OF ALL TIME!!! Idiot.
Liam people make it seem like he did it all by himself tho. Mike ain’t win until he got Scottie and Phil Jackson. A LOT of different circumstances come into winning a championship
Nexx Level Sure, thing is Michael Jordan as a leader made it a lot easier for everybody else lol. He scored the ball so easily the defense had to basically quadruple team him and left people wide open, not only that they still couldn’t stop him from scoring haha. He also played amazing defense and his energy is what made everybody else want to do the same thing.
Ayo #StephonMarbury aka #Starbury was a whole problem when he was in the league no cap at all !!! One of the illest PGs to ever play the game real talk !!! 🔥😳🫢😁✊🏾💪🏾👍🏾✌🏾💯 !!!

That alley-oop was insane, especially for a player that's 6-2 at most....
That one of the sickest alley oop of all times for a point guard. Just incredible
@@MackP414 I love marbury but Baron Davis must've did this atleast 10 times in his career. And he is about that height
@@QankoIvanov Baron was a beast

And by far the best player KG played with in MN. It’s a shame he wanted out because they had something special brewing with those two and Googs.
@@MikeG-l6d yep they would have definitely been a force in the west if he would have stayed

Grew up watching all the greats--Penny, Tim Hardaway, Iverson, but when I look back at Steph I see the talent and potential he really had.

Just randomly wanted to see Marbury ball. He deserves his flowers while he's here.

If he played today he’d be Ja Morant with a better jumpshot. Absolute superstar talent
The hell happened to this guy, Steve Francis, and Iverson? They all could've been hall of famers.
