Is an IELTS Band 7 score enough to be considered for an admission at University of Waterloo? (L:8.5,R:6.5,W:6,S:6.5)? On the internet its mentioned that I need a 6.5 in writing too for MMSc.

depends on your work area...certain roles can be rewarding in Native place...certain sector work area can be good for Canada
Maybe like IT, forestry, Agri, natural resources, mining, oil & gas, food processing facility policy, and inspection.
