As an arab anime fan, it brought me little spurts of joy hearing arabic words used for spells. Bararaqu Saiqa by Sinbad literally means "bolt of lightning". Just a whole bunch of arabic vocab used on the show and it was fun to hear and watch it come to life :)
He is a badass character and his story makes me pity him a bit but while I adore his character reading the manga made me wanna throw hands with his dumbass self regardless of how good his intentions were

Are you positive that's Ithnan? I noticed he certainly looked similar, but my big thing is that I feel like Ithnan wouldn't be so helpless against mere household members like that...I don't recall them ever directly saying it's Ithnan, unless they say so later on in the manga.
I know what you mean but I think this was to showcase Sinbad's household vessels power, plus Ithnan survived this skirmish, and Sinbad had to use his other form to beat him later.
