Gotta be my favorite NYM XC route! I usually start at Saltergate car park...but after watching this...i see you save the best till last...that descent from Simons Howe. Looked like a perfect day for it too. Great vid!
Did this one today. Enjoyed it - had a lot of variation in terrain and some mildly tricky but fun bits in the wet. Fylingdale section probably better when we've had a dry period! Going to try your other NYM rides soon. Thanks for posting!
I was actually in goathland today, my mum volunteers at the station shop, and while there I thought about doing this ride again, it’s probably my fav in the Yorkshire moors, glad you enjoyed it
Epic rides and videos as usual. You do a lot of riding, which is impressive; could you please do a Video on your diet? Pre and post your adventures…. Would be immensely helpful from a pro
Ha! I once stopped for a wee in a layby but what I didn't realise at the time was the fence I was weeing on was for the tank training ground in Weymouth. First the lights came on then the dogs started barking. Then I heard footsteps and I got in my car sharpish as I have a healthy fear of army dogs.
If you had crossed over the road towards the silver car at the start of the 1st road climb there is a nice track that takes you across to the beck hole road, you can then come up through the old quarries that run along side the beck hole road up to the top of the hill.it cuts out all the tarmac.👍👍
I did this ride today and used your tip. Definitely a nice way to go. Noticed some of the quarry bits are used by Motorcross people though and I noticed a few big rocks placed in the way as well as broken up glass so be wary of that! Cheers for the ride idea and the amendment from Paul 👍
@@TrailFinder I ought to you're right. I've done a couple of rides in your neck of the woods this week whilst on holiday. Did the Nidderdale classic and Circular near Threshfield. Had some great weather. 👍
I did it today, great ride. I used trail finders trailforks route. I did cock up though and made a wrong turn after levisham and ended up miles off the route 😭 Managed to get back on though
It’s great. Just make sure you turn auto pause off. Then your elevation will be correct. I think it’s an amazing device. Especially the sat nav part. And they are also £175 from Halfords
Hi Trail-Finder. Great Videos. I'd love to do this ride, any chance you could put up a GPX file for Komoot as I use a Wahoo nav unit. Keep up the good vids...

Aaron Grimmer yeah best section of the ride is that. And I’m glad I did it at the end to finish off 😁
Honestly nothing like a scenic summer ride with blue skies and not a cloud in the sky. Cant wait for the summer to arrive.
It’s the best. Love it

Nice cross country ride, just up my street. Will definitely mark this one as future ride. Thanks for posting. Always enjoy them.
Thanks Scott.
You’re so lucky to have such good rides.

Thanks for the tip Paul. Will look out for that next time. As usually do this ride every year

That looks a great route loads of variety and interest. I've visited Goathland when up at Whitby but never ridden there. Fantastic summer ride..... 😎
jnadin39 it’s a good one. And only around 2 miles of tarmac. Bring your bike next time you visit 😁

sussed it lol
As ever a great video, watched everyone of them, I just wish they were a bit longer warts and all style
People tend to get bored with long videos on UA-cam. Thanks for the kind words. 😁
Do you upload your routes on anything e.g. kamoot?
I do. Take a look in the description on all videos
Thank you!
Your right but I was meaning in the 20-30 minute range mate, like the other quality videos with that time content you’ve produced 👍
Stunning ride Mate. What GPS do you use?
Mark Collingwood it’s the Garmin edge 820
@@TrailFinder Recommend it? I'm just looking at getting a device but there is so much out there!

@@TrailFinder Ordered Mate. Halfords, £150! Pick up tomorrow.
Connect it straight to your computer and get it updated mate. As it’s not very responsive till you do. Touch screen is a little slow.

Just put it in the description for you Ian
