What an honest and real look at the challenges of mulching jobs! This video shows the ups, downs, and problem-solving skills needed to get the job done. Great work staying transparent! 👏
I had 2 acres of saw palmetto mulched via local fella that did it with a big ole takeuchi TL12v2 and he found trash we never knew existed before we bought the property. He found an old stainless steel (thick walled) hot water heater, old TV antennae pole, 2 piles of concrete and 2 slabs that were busted up and buried. We felt sorry he had dulled his blades badly on the job but hes a good guy. If you're looking for a mulcher in the space coast area Divine Land Management is the man for the job. Truly remarkable the before and after these jobs are, it makes rhe world of difference for overgrown lots/backyards.
Hey bud, why not hang some tractor weights on the blade and swing it round back for more counterbalance? 400 lbs of suitcase weights will do wonders. If you install a receiver hitch into the blade you could make a carrier that slides in and out of the receiver and use the boom to install and remove. Just a thought, eh.
DAVIN! You do a great job on the properties and take a few small risks. This one looks much better! But one that could cause major damage to your expensive equipment I cannot blame you one bit for being cautious and bowing out. Some people will take advantage of your kindness and not blink an eye. Keep those politely at arm’s length. PS: Love the change up in your music selections lately! 😊
Dude, I don't blame ya !! It would just be a freakin' nightmare on your machine, if ya hit just one section of that fencing or wire !! But, it is what it is, just got to get what ya can and get on too the next one... Have a Great Day !!
Have you ever looked at fae mulcher? Do you know why some have a 3rd hose vs prinoth 2. Comparison is so hard. And cost is too much to gamble with. What is largest diameter red oak you have mulched with little munchie?
To bad about this job ,but it’s not worth risking damaging your equipment, this property belongs to a developer,he just wants results.until he gets someone to take care of the existing problems.not worth it.I’m sure he understands, yea right, just continue on doing what you do best.be safe.on to the next job.👍👍👍😎😎😎
So the developer Would not want to invest in cleaning up the metal, concrete, or glass... Some one has to! He owns it and will sell it at a profit! Pfft! .
Need to do a better job looking these jobs over before agreeing to do them…ole letsdig18 walks all over the project before starting in order to minimize these “surprises”! 👍
@@susancurrie8552 The excavator is a kubota, but I don't see any kubota brand mulcher attachments for the excavator being sold. Do you have a model number?
I realize that you don't care for hot weather but, if you were in Watertown you'd be snowed in and wouldn't be working 'til spring. Myrtle isn't as hot as a lot of other areas in South Carolina. Even though I live at Lake Wylie I work most days in Columbia. Working Columbia, Lexington, and Aiken would make you more than miserable in the summer heat. Keep your pecher hard and your powder dry!
Maybe the customer can look around in the local area and see if there are church youth groups, juvenile offender programs, or maybe check the local PO to see of anyone needs aome Community Service hours for clearing that trash out.
@Dave-ei7kk Agreed, but those three groups are the most common ones that need Community Service hours. Some church schools will hold the diplomas if the kids don't get enough CS hours, and you can't say this plot wouldn't make for a heck of a Community Project.
Actually, I think that this one is on the owner. Instead of trying to mulch it, he should have hired someone with a metal track excavator and dump truck to rip it out and haul it to a c&d landfill. It would be cheaper to burn and then separate out the remaining trash, but I doubt the local community would appreciate a burn pile.
The owner should ask if you have what we have here in the uk, the bad boys community services units to clear the rubbish recycling what they can, i see your point too risky with little munchie..good clearance though..uk out..
Why not put a winch on the back of little munchie? For much of them little trees, a solid winch could rip them out of the ground. You could then pile the trees up by the front, and grind them up later. As for the trash, ripping the little trees up would expose the trash, and the owner would have to get it cleaned up later. Some of those bottles might still have fingerprints of the person(s) whom was back there. If they had been arrested beforehand, they would be in the system, and the owner would know whom to bill for the cleanup.
That’s not gonna happen. City should see if they have any ordinances that they can use to comply the landowner to pay for cleaning it up properly. It was probably the current or previous landowner who made this mess.

You can only do what you can, especially if it's going to do damage. Well done anyway. Owner has a conundrum with this.
Awesome music. ❤❤. Nice job🎉🎉🎉.

Hey Daven, I'm with you when it comes to cooler weather, I Love the fall and winter, and hate spring and summer, i hate sweating.

Essa máquina é absurda de tão incrível!!!
The owner should have taken better care of the property.
I must say that I personally found the music more enjoyable.
The joys of being a property owner. Take the bad with the good sooner or later the cleanup will have to be done.
Good call, not worth it.Thats alot of glass metal and concrete.
That was the 🫎lodge, Fred was the grand poobah.
Did Fred like a Drink?
Very nice work Devin
I’m glad you saw it before you hit it
Magnet like the scrap yard dudes ! 😂😂 . Kinda like Magnet fishing the river but you get magnet fishing the privet ! ❤

All those booze bottle are probably from that mystery building. That's a Cat job, not a mulch one. Level it and haul it away.
Bad boy muchies ❤👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Love your videos.. prefer witout music
What happened to your tail lite
I would've asked the owner to go do a sweep of the area and have them pick up the trash first and then do the mulching
The owner is such a party pooper.😂

Maybe the owner could get someone with a big cat to come in and pull it all out and a little bobcat get in and scrape it all out
Damp, drizzly, overcast day, man they sure cut down on the dust that the equipment kicks up from the ground

Good job and video Brother. The developer needs to hire a crew to clean out the trash before you do more

Hi Devin & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Devin & Friends Randy
People are so inconsiderate just dumping trash where ever like that’s one of the most infuriating things
Never mind that wouldn't work the branches would fall on top of everything
Would it had been better if you had came in from the other side of the Building. Just so you are not throwing stuff against the building.

Can you not just take it down to about 3 feet off the ground so the junk can be taken out then come back and remove the rest
🤔

Landowner needs to take care of that. This isn’t what charities are for.
