@@andresgonzaleztorres3808 single, to the end, just like Ryu... which is actually pretty weird. Capcom *loves* to put Ryu and Chun-Li together on posters, more so than Ryu with Ken and they are legit bond brothers. From early to later covers like SF5 CE for the most recent example or even the SF X Tekken game where they show Chun-Li as his main partner (on the first gameplay trailer and cover art) even thou it’s Ken, to different promotional content like their Red Bull sponsor posters, to even the god forsaken Fortnite crossover. All those shared moments and yet, they barely interact with one another in the main Story. That’s like if SNK puts Mai with Kyo together in every poster and promotional material.
Of all the feats Street Fighter characters can perform, Chun Li throwing a whole dang couch from behind her back and over her head is the most impressive.
Yeah ok just ignore how Akuma one punched an island in alpha 2 , ryu destroying buildings with a fireball in that one alpha movie or how Akuma shoryuken’d a battleship while standing a submarine underwater destroying both the battleship and the submarine Yeah just ignore those , throwing a sofa is way more impressive
Still super happy that they recreated that last fight from the movie into the rpg tactics game on 3DS, its needed to unlock Ken/Ryu's tag special. Going to look up that part of the game again now haha
English version was good but the Japanese version was better....English version what do you see beyond your fist ? English version Ken says ''my fate'' Japanese version ken answer is 'RYU'' This is a better reflection of Ken as a character.....Ryu is the standard and the only one he measures himself too....in the movie Ken was settling into normal life....and longed to fight Ryu again.....the competitions he won could not satisfy him.....but to face Ryu again was why he still fights
But the music in the Japanese version is god awful. The Chun Li vs Vega fight is no where near is good with the awful music choice, it's not just the song not sounding cool or anything it doesn't even fit the scene.
@@poonoo87 in your opinion but to people who understand the concept of anime being Japanese culture its clear that the Japanese version is the superior of the two versions
@@JIX9ISLER1986 That's weeb talk. Just because it's the japanese version it doesn't make it superior by default. The music in the Chun Li vs Vega fight feels like a random song was put on during the scene while in the western version it starts out with a quiet song but then Ultra hits when the fight actually starts post shower scene. It suits the tension of Guile racing to get to the hotel and Chun Li desperately trying to fight for her life. In the Japanese version the music doesn't change with the action at all while edits are made to Ultra to suit the scene. It isn't even a cultural problem, it's bad use of music and sound period.

not sure if prime had it at the time but street fighter 2 movie is on prime video. meaning they could have done a full movie watch with ppl that also had prime and watch the entire thing with discussing moments of it.
How can anyone say the music in the final fight in the US version is better than Itoshi sato setsuna sato kokorozuyo sato by Ryoko Shinohara? That song is literally legendary and still a hugely popular in Japan 30 years later. That song MADE the fight scene.
People have different preferences and experiences. I grew up with the US version, so all my nostalgia is tied to it's soundtrack. Whether "Itoshisato Setsunasato Kokoro Tsuyosato" is better or not, it doesnt provide the same feeling I had as a kid.
I always find it funny how the guys are fighting about if Guile and Chun-Li like each other, even thou Guile is straight up married and has Children.
Who do you guys think Chun Li would end up with? I go with Ryu

Guile is a hypocrite, never goin' home to be a family man
If I was guile I'd would have gotten in with Chun LI married or not
Bryan Cranston was a bit of a voice actor at the time. He did a bunch small voice roles in cartoons and power rangers
Dr.Doom23 you’re goddamn right...!

I feel bad but I've never actually watched this one...erm...I mean played this qte/story mode/trying to get to the game we can't find it thing.
Still the best videogame movie of all time.
I wanna comment on this, the movie looks like it was drawn by the same people behind Akira. You know "TETSUO!!"

There needs to be a sf3 anime movie . 😢
Ken actually dyes his hair which is why his eyebrows arent blond
I fuckin love this movie 😁😁😁
Of course the Chun Li shower scene was cutted because the movie was a PG-13 film
Thank God.
Shame their wasn't a second movie following up what happened next, introducing Akuma seeing the long awaited rematch with Sagat vs Ryu

He does it on purpose lol they always argue about it.
Oh! Of course. Friggin Steve. Lol
Man, the Japanese version is better than the American version in every way possible! The music, voice acting, etc...
The music is great in the American
Ryu's theme is epic
Weeb
I prefer the Japanese OST
I too like boring things
These guys are cheesy.
I really hate the English dub! Period!
