In my opinion Darius The Great is far greater than Cyrus; Darius invented Spy and Intelligence system, first Postal service, First Standing army in the world(the immortals), orderd the construction of Persepolis and many other things like educating and leaving a worthy heir to the throne (Xerxers the great) while Cyrus only founded the empire, created the human rights cylinder and integrated it into law.
Your opinion is respectable. Cyrus the great start the empire, but Darius the great formed it as what we know today. Same as Julius Caesar and Augustus in Roman republic and Roman empire
But all of his efforts didn't help him against Alexander

Darius imo was the best, interm of being a ruler. He allowed the Jews to build the second temple and even supported the construction of the second temple it was during his reign that Second Temple Judaism happened.
To what extent was Judaism influenced by Zoroastrianism?
I have heard Judaism was influenced by Egyptian and Babylonian mystery schools of religion during their time in captivity which is seen in Babylonian Talmud and Kabbalah. Wondering if they were also influenced by Zoroastrianism.

Let me remind you, great Iranian philosophers such as Rumi, or Ibn Sinas based a lot of their work on Islam. Rumi is litterally a holy figure of Sufi Islam.

What did lotf ali khan exactly? Not long time of ruling, not vast domination area, not great wars. He was a good man but betrayed by all people around him. This don't make him a great ruler.
