I'm a hair stylist and I really do believe now that having a hair growth buddy helps. You have been mine lol. My hair is just now to my past my collar bone! I have grown out my color completely. I was stuck bouncing between pixie and bob for like 5 years and I have finally gotten to a length and hair health I like. Now the only thing is I won't let anyone else cut my hair because they take too much off.
This has been so cool to see. I hope you still love whatever you are doing. I’ve always loved growing out and then chopping it all off and having tons of different haircuts! If you love it long I hope you keep it but I also hope if you feel like experimenting you do that too! 💜
Nooooooo! Don’t cut your hair it’s so pretty! I went from your length to very short and I regretted it before I left the hairdresser! I’ve not had mine cut since September 2019 but it’s slow to grow back, I think it’s an age thing as I’m 57, so I don’t expect it to grow as long as it was. I’m scared to death to get it styled in case the same thing happens again xxx💕
My hair was the same length as yours for the longest time but I had to cut it before summer. It’s shoulder length with bangs and I love it and get tons of compliments! When it was long I was so bored with it bc I always put it in a bun!
I feel you, Jackie. I’ve had short hair for years but decided to let it grow out. oh my gosh it gets to me sometimes that I just want to chop it off. I haven’t had my hair this long and I have no idea what to do with it, gotta look into your hair playlist and learn how to braid or something haha
Let your hair do it's thing, don't worry about the colour :) when you said 'look how bad this looks' I could see that it's bothering you.. but honestly, no one will notice/mind. Keep looking after yourself and the things that really matter 💛
I shaved my head a month before you shaved yours and holy cow your hair is so much longer then mine . I have trimmed my hair a bunch but still !! I’m Jealous !!!
I get tension headaches when I tie my hair up. You should look up a nautilus bun. It’s the only way I put my hair up anymore because it doesn’t give me a headache!!!

I tend to go short (shoulder blade) with my hair every 2-3 years. My hair in those years end up between mid back to tailbone length. That's with only washing it 2-3x a week, and drinking tons of water. I say, wait until your 3 year mark, and cut it drastically and try something new with color? Missing your adventurous colors.

And I think you should just get a nice toner color, you can even try the Kristen ess color depositing conditioners as a low commitment but high quality!
