  • LETS DO A TEST! I'm planting two Serrano Pepper Plants in pots outside but only pruning one plant. Let's see what happens come the end of the summer together!

Hmm....if these were houseplants, you would never plant them in a pot that big, going from the smaller ones they were in. I would press them in harder though, you don't want to leave any air pockets down there. And yes, as you did, you also should take any bottom leaves off if they are at the soil line. I would use transplant fertilizer, but I wouldn't use regular fertilizer if you've just pruned the roots. Not sure, but I think you will burn them. It will be interesting to see how they progress!

Looking forward to the results, I've overwintered a pepper and been quick to snip off early buds, since the plant has been getting extra sunlight from a southfacing window during it's overwintering. It's put on lots of new growth already, but the hot days have been wilting it.

Yeah, I'm running into some wilting as well on my Ghosts. The weather has been a little bouncy. The rest dont seem to mind, just assuming they're gonna be divas all season.

you really did murder those roots lol. A hose or bucket of water and you save way more roots.

Yeah... not my proudest moment. I did use a hose, tho! I just wasn't sure how to untangle the mess, so.... snip!

Can 🫑 peppers be grown inside? The label said 6 hours sunlight.. so I take it outside a little bit a day (not 6 hrs tho). I've been looking for just the right pot. I know I need to transplant my little pepper plant❤

I did some shorts, but life did what it does. Havent had time for the garden since the last video. Its overgrown and a lot of the plants are looking diseased.
      Its pretty depressing.

🫑❤Hey thank you! I found you while looking for info about how to treat my new Bonnie Plants 🫑 Red Bell Sweet Pepper. I got it on sale at a nursery that obviously had given up on several herbs and veggies 😅❤but I'd been looking for an herb or something. So, not knowing ANYTHING about peppers I rescued my plants. It was very dry and unfortunate looking. But I've had it a couple weeks I think 🤔 ? Maybe less. And it's still in the lil pot it came in and is getting taller FAST! ❤❤❤😊😊😊🫑 🫑 It had immediately been healthy looking after I watered it. I found it outside the store 😢and bone dry! I need more info about pepper plants. I didn't know you're supposed to trim off the drooping things on the top. That's fruit? There's over 16 of them!! Too many huh 😅. I look forward to following you and learning more! And watching your pepper 🌶️ experiment!😊😊😊
