Anything can happen at anytime in Saga that is either a great help or sending your pack into a spiral of death and starvation. Not your fault what happened but yes as the player it is frustrating- had a pup go running into bison and die on me as a yearling. On minute i was running along looking gor elk next i had a pop up about my dead pack member and when i turned around i saw then heard the bison... they were stealth mode before i guess. Yearling! Got through everything including growing pups - definitely thought i was safe. Well... nope! Moonstone is certainly working hard for her remaining pup and i think she'll do well.
Very true! That's why I love the game so much, it's challenging and you never know what is going to happen. Every playthrough is different. That's too bad with your pup and the bison. That's what happened with Topaz and the moose in Jade's story. Thought they were all still running with me. Moonstone is determined, hopefully it's enough to keep Aries alive.

Oh no! I'm so sorry Amy 😢 what awful luck. Try to not beat yourself up, the saga is brutal sometimes
