Alcohol was my Giant back then in 2011 when I was in Varsity after so many years of trying to quit by myself. I knew about Jesus but I did not know him because I had not surrendered my life to him. One Sunday evening after a couple of drinks as I was taking a shower before sleep, I called on him with an open heart to come into my life and help me. I cried for some time in the shower after experiencing this amazing feeling of love and relief as if He was there with me and the following day I was just a different person. After class I found my roommate and friends continuing with the drinking in our bachelor room and I told them I quit. I never had the craving anymore for alcohol and 13 years later I am still sober and I have never regretted giving my life to Jesus it still brings tears to my eyes even to this day!
Friend, it’s not your battle, I’m 67 I’ve had this demon most of my life, I don’t even like the affects of it. Humbly I asked my Heavenly Father to remove the desire. I can’t explain what God did, I now have peace. I was powerless so I know it wasn’t anything to do with me. Just one word I had left, just one word to pray. MERCY. I’m free of the demon.. all the best friend and don’t be discouraged.😘
I pray that My Lord God may destroy the demon o ancestral worship and alcoholism and dagga smoking possessing my daughter right now. I need God to completely defeat this giant that finishes peace in my family

God helped me defeat you. Why do you think God needed them to deal with evil? I thought God did it all himself (Cain for example). When did God start sending rejects to admonish us over his apples, or anything at all? (you chose to be chosen for gods vengeances, it's yours now)
This life's purpose is for us to learn the knowledge of good and evil. We chose that WE wanted to decide what is good and what is evil and the only way we can learn it is to live it, to learn from our mistakes, to learn what is good, if we see something evil then we must never become what we hate. It's a lot of lessons to learn but if we look back we can be very proud of our progress. Even though the world can seem so horrible right now it's still 1000 times better than 1000 years ago. We still have a lot to learn but as long as we keep improving little by little then we keep moving in the right direction
