True of the VK3001H before they butchered that tank too. I used to move around the battle field with the 75mm gun on that tank and cause havoc. Those were the days!
Panzer 4, Panther, Tiger and Tiger II, ingame, are shadows of how formidable they were in real life. There's a reason soviets lost over 86000 tanks (of those almost 45000 are T-34s) in battle (albeit not all from tank-tank engagements but from the same guns these tanks carry around). These german supertanks (for the era) were massively superior to anything, even T-44s. Killed by battle logistics and breakdowns rather than other tanks.
I’ll say something “controversial”, broadly speaking, in the real world Soviet/Russian tanks are junk, have always been junk, and are very likely junk to this very day. There’s never been any engagement that I can find where Russian tanks were overtly dominant on the battlefield. In every single conflict that featured Russian tanks: WW2, Korea, Six Day War, Yom Kippur War, the Gulf War etc. Russian tanks not only proved to be no better than anything their enemies put up against them, namely British and American tanks after WW2, but they always took more casualties than they dished out. Russian tanks, once again broadly speaking, are paper tigers.

Loved it even before the buff, my first tier 8 I marked. You learn to angle the armor, Snap shot, and immediately rotate your turret to keep from getting penned in the gun mantle. I like the same gun on the E75 for the dpm

I don't know what kind of hex is on this thing but it gets penned at 2 degrees in the sides and can get hit in the commader's cupola and the driver dies. Honestly, this thing is cursed!

I finally got around to getting the Tiger 2. 11 year account, just now getting the Tiger 2. Still upgrading but so far I like it. Btw, the end score plate you showed was incorrect - he had 9 kills and more damage than shown on that scoring screen.
I like watching this tanks game play, thanks for showing it Claus. I can't master it, well when I say master, I mean; play as well as my other heavies. I'm glad your showing this play. I'd like to see more reverse side scraping technique. I try to get that together, it's very incremental that task, as if you get it wrong by an iota... back to the garage you go.
I know a lot of players, especially the newer ones are going to grind this line. I am playing wot from 2013 and it never comes to my mind to go play that line simply because its never a problem when your opponent plays a tiger, its not a menace. Even if the history tells you that Tigers were good tanks in wot they are like HP piñata, autopen etc. So, sry guys but its one of the few lines not touched by my in game money.
When I started in the game, I wanted to run the Maus line for my clan. I liked the Ferdinand, but it only led to Tier 9. I was sad about missing the Tiger 1 and Tiger 2. Are there any epic VK4502A battles? You need to acquire a taste for that one.
Back in the day when I used to play Blitz (that being 4 years ago) I used to play almost strictly German tanks, they had the most reliable guns. I played the Tigers and the Es like no tomorrow, they were just that good, and now they are even better since they got buffed armor. There was a point where the Tiger I was so borderline overpowered, going around at 40-50km/h, turning like a medium tank, shooting for 220 alpha every 4-5 seconds, practically printing Ace tankers. Of course that the Tiger I was nerfed, still, it continued to kick like no tomorrow.
The team list screen at the end of the 2nd battle is wrong - shows different list of tanks, several teammates still alive rather than 2, and has the wrong damage total for the player.
I liked the Tiger 2, but I got sick of it losing its engine on almost every battle. I had to set up the tank not for offense, but to keep the engine from burning up. The E75 is a huge upgrade
I would NEVER get that lucky in my Tiger II, and I have a 56% win rate in mine! I would truly LOVE to have an average damage of over 300 pts per shot. My average is 289, and those games where I do average over 300 I do serious damage but like Christmas, those days come only once a year! :-D Let's see the rest. I love knowing there is someone out there playing German heavies who actually get RNG in their favor. I can only dream of that!

Yes, I am almost onto my second mark for the Tiger II. It's a great tank. Until the enemies decide to load gold. You would almost never need to load gold. Until you face stupid hulldown tanks like Bisonte C45. Those are the few tanks that are worth keeping. They are just .. eh, something special. E100 is literally the icon for WoT PC. This'll never get old. The E75 you say? Well personally I think it's not too indifferent (compared to the Tiger II), but why not
E100 is power-crept in-to oblivion. AP rounds penetration is awful on both guns for a T10, especially now considering that there are many tanks with same caliber guns but much better stats.

Well what a dream of a match this dude has, i have never ever faced tier 6 tanks in my Tiger II. I almost exclusively face tier 8 premiums 9 and 10, maybe one in 30 battles i may see tier 7 tanks, but in those games the dudes in the plethora of premium cheat tanks farm them long before i get near the action. Overall i enjoy playing this tank as well as my Tiger I but as a rule i am usually just farmed by the coiners in their cheat tanks. A good example of this was a recent game where i was stuck on a ridge in Tiger II and was facing 5 premiums at once ( no prizes for guessing how that went.) The premiums are a cancer in the game, another recent match i held a corner against 4 tier 9 tanks supporting a Skoda T 56, but when it actually came to forcing the corner to get at them the Skoda ran like a bitch, end of game check revealed he had only played 256 battles, little wonder i despise coiners in their cheat tanks with zero skills and nothing but a credit card to bring to the battle. Almost every game in the Tiger II has at least 3 or 4 premiums in it and i have seen 6 at once ( maybe more as i am relatively new to the game so don't know them all yet.) But it is gutless and creates a toxic environment when no matter how hard you dedicate yourself to learning the mechanics, some ass hat who just buys a cheat tank can slaughter you with gold, and zero skills, just sitting out in the open and or charging you down knowing fully well that you can't penetrate his armour. Additionally those same ass hats will slag you off in chat and berate you for not having over 50% wins when if they took a realistic look they would realise their stats are worth nothing as they just buy them. It is precisely for this reason i will never buy a premium account nor a premium tank as i refuse to cheat. Yes it is cheating, do not mistake rules for morals, if you pay for an advantage then that is cheating!! BTW this issue is down the entire Tier line down to tier 2. and frankly is a complete sham, WG should be ashamed of themselves for being so blatantly mercinary and for encouraging the very worst behaviour in people. So many tales of absolute cock gobblers in premiums. From pushing me into gunfire and or pushing me out of cover so they can have that bush or bit of rubble, to just jumping in front of me at the last moment to steal a kill i had ground down, to being abusive in chat because they didn't get their way. Almost universally they are the ones who will call a team idiots, simply because they got over run by the opposing teams premiums spamming gold. From my observations almost to a one those who drive premiums are the very scum of the earth. Naturally there will be exceptions but as of yet i am to see them on the field.

If you want to grind the German heavies, heaviums(E50/E50m) or super heavy TD's(Jagaroo) you HAVE TO learn how to side scrape and you HAVE TO learn how to angle when out in the open. You HAVE TO learn to ALWAYS think about angles and how to play/move according to said angles. They're boxy tanks and so presenting flat surfaces means you will get penned....so you always have to angle your turret and hull accordingly. Engine fires are also a major concern until tier 10, if I'm not mistaken every German tank up to tiers 9 and 10 have their transmission in the front if the tank which is why it's easy to start a fire by punching through it's lower front plate. There's much more to running German mediums and super heavy tanks...far too much to list off in YT comments....lol.

I don't play myself anymore but that was a frequent problem in all of the german vehicles when I played, except for the higher mediums that were not based on Tiger variants (specifically the indien panzer and leopards)
THE LINE ISNT FAST the gun is good at range stay in cover move often work on where and what part of each tank you shoot at it's low speed can get you in to deep so situational awareness is key never Go up real close on another heavy but bullying lights and medium tanks once you've out maneuvered them is a gas BREADCRUMBS TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM the in close shooting you see in this are less than ideal situations where you want to find yourself always enjoy my coffee a bit more watching replays and studying maps lol hides etc

Panther and the Tigers were overweight, overengineered, and overrated. The most effective tanks they built were the Panzer 4 and the StuG.

A lot of people are prioritizing Deadeye. Increased chance of fires and ammo racks is huge.
