This is just beautiful. I haven’t been able to find an Arcade1Up, and seeing this, well … this is perfect! The exact artwork and design I would want. Such an amazing job you did. Respect.
I would want an upgraded pcb though with the sound issues fixed, and have the original song on TMNT 1989. That's sort of what the Turtles in Time version is. Some people said that there is a volume issue because of the headphone jack but I don't notice anything and the music sounds mixed better than the old 1up one. The old one some of the music channels sounded softer than others. On MAME you can fix that by adjusting the volume of the sound channels individually. But you can't on the 1up.
This is an inspiration dude. I had Recroom Masters make me a Streets of Rage legacy cabinet 1-4 art. I very nearly had them do something like this. Looks better without the gloss imo, a good decision.
Thank you.🙏 One of my dream cabs. I was on the fence at first, gloss or matte. I ordered some test prints to see them side by side. Gloss shows every imperfection.
Nice job man! I'm turning a bare Simpsons A1up cabinet into a custom 4 player PC modded TMNT! It will also have the 20" Dell 2007FPB monitor running it along with some other different additions.
Did Repro Arcade resize the vinyl artwork at all, or did you use their full size replacement vinyl ? Would be great to get the cabinet CAD files if possible, looks a great size. Thanks, and we’ll done, your cabinets look amazing!
Thank you.🙏 The artwork was resized and parts moved to fit the cabinet, it’s all custom. I don’t have CAD files, it was designed in a 3D art software. I would like to do a design overview video someday, just difficult to find the time.
I swear, your work is just impeccable - I love it! If I could build at least ONE, I will knock other item off my nerd bucket list. I have the software know-how, I've done controls, it's just the wood building aspect of it! Keep up the amazing work. Let's get to 1000 subs, folks!
Thank you. Funny, I was the opposite. I know woodworking, but not so much about the software. I had to watch many UA-cam videos and read to get up to speed. Thanks for watching.👊
Have you given any more thought to packaging your plans and directions into a pdf to sell? I think a lot of people would be interested, I for one would just love it. I love love love your cabs.
I would like to do an overview video for my Konami builds someday. Packaging up plans with directions would be very time consuming. I design in a 3D art package, so it's not like I just hit a button and print it out with a cut list. It's hard to find the time to work on my builds. #dadlife. Moving forward I will look into how I can share dimensions/plans. Awesome to hear you love my builds. Thanks for the support! 👊I hope to finish up my Simpsons next month and then....Start on my shooter...
Great job. Tastefully done. At 0:42 are you sealing the MDF? If so, what are you using? I usually use Kilz but it looks like you,are spraying lacquer or,something clear?

Man, I totally want to build something like this but for killer instinct. Plus controls on the side for 4 player. Do you by chance have the template plans available? Or the 3d models?
I do the designs in a 3D art package, so I don't have a CAD file and can't easily export a cut list. At some point I would like to do a design overview video, just hard to find the time. #dadlife. The base dimensions of the cabinet are in the description.
@@AnthonyVitale I’d take a 3d model :) I used to use Maya professionally. And have experience with blender. But understand if you don’t want to release those. Thanks for responding though. Your cab is amazing
@@AnthonyVitale I see the dimensions you list as Arcade1up Pro Series inspired, but the side art from Reproarcade is for the original Konami cabs. So, is your custom not the exact same dimensions as the original vintage cabs?
@@13lake Yes, my builds are not the exact dimensions as the original cabinet. I tried to maintain the iconic shape, while making the cabinet thinner and shorter.
If Arcade1up remakes TMNT in deluxe 3/4 (17" monitor, riserless) or XL (19" monitor) I want them to make it just like this. Looks more arcade accurate than the 4 player Konami cabs they did. Same thing with the Simpsons and X-Men. The monitor is flush with the angle of the cabinet and the speakers angle down on yours. I'm about to build an X-Men soon, I dismantled my Turtles in Time last year and I have a Simpsons built. I also have a 6 player deck for X-Men from 99 lives that I haven't used yet. It fits right on the 1up cab and has many games preloaded on a mini computer attached to it including TMNT maybe TMNT in Time, The Simpsons, and others. TMNT in Time and the Simpsons are softmoddable to run emulators and games but X-Men A1up pcb is not. The 99 lives deck replaces the A1up deck and PCB.
My Konami builds are around $900.00- ish in parts and $10,000 in labor. 🤣 I’m always looking for deals on parts and buy a few at a time. Before covid I picked up 3 open box Logitech Z533 for $90.00 each, similar with PI4 kits.
I'll trade you my 1up Turtles in Time for yours, lol. Your's looks more arcade accurate, what is the size of it? Is it the size of KI pro or is it more like 3/4 scale? What is the screen size of the monitor? The control panel looks more arcade accurate than the 1up. It slants on the top like how the Blitz deck slants. I have T2 but I'm doing a couple other gun cabs like Carnevil and House of the Dead. For HOTD I'm using big buck parts I got on ebay.
lol. I just sold my Arcade1up TMNT a few weeks ago. Cabinet Dimensions: (H) 76.25 inches (L) 32.5 inches (D) 28 inches At the end of the video I go over all the hardware. Carnevil ❤ Thanks for watching!
Yup, I'd pay for this in a heartbeat. Looks frickin amazing

Would be cool if a company made this to upgrade your old arcade1up where you use your original screen ,deck and marquee.
