Disney obviously didn't choose to keep Disneyland closed for so long. Governor Gavin Newsom forced them to remain closed. Why are you blaming Disney for something your elected officials did?

Walt's light is like a reflection of him. He never gave up on his hopes and dreams of the future. I had always looked at the closing of Disneyland like the park taking a breaking or taking nap and Walt keeping watch as his baby slept. The first lighting of Sleeping Beauty castle was Disneyland waking up to start fresh and begin a new. With more energy, more magic, more memories, and more dreams and wishes to grant. Like Walt said "To all who come to this happy place...Welcome."
I just want to say thank u for saying those words I lost my mom my brother and my dad its been 4 years since they have been gone and my dad always took us every year so it means a lot to me to hear those words disneyland is every thing for me I need in the worst way I feel empty without it

Seeing this makes me so happy...after it being closed for so long and to see it open again it makes me cry happy tears. I would watch the live feed and see Disneyland and California Adventure just sit there with the lights off.🥺🥺😭 I really missed it! I can't wait to walk through those gates and ride rides again and see all the characters! I grew up with Disneyland. It's my 2nd home. ❤❤
The whole entire world needs the Disneyland theme park back in California we need it because without it life would be soooo boring without Disneyland and this theme park helps think positive feelings and very happy thoughts and of course reliving our happiest memories together as a family like the characters Lilo & Stitch would always said, "O'hana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." And of course I could never leave Disneyland behind that place holds a very dear special place in heart forever I love in fact we all love this theme park very much. DISNEYLAND WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

A lot of folks just don't understand the passion we have and the fulfillment we get from something they think is trivial. And that's fine. They just need to keep their bad vibes to themselves and let people enjoy what they enjoy.
I think when people think disney they automatically think of the cringe disney adults or babies in strollers. so it turns them off easily.
but in the end, disneyland is YOUR land and you make it your own.
for me it’s the living history, the cultural impact of americana and progress to a better tomorrow. for others it’s the mickey ears and characters.
