I was supposed to go to New York in June - just two weeks by myself living my best Broadway life. I hope I'll be able to go next year instead. Or finally go to Australia or NZ because it'd the big 3-0 birthday for me next year so I gotta treat myself :D
If you come to Aus Carrie & Ollie (when the borders eventually open back up), you should jump on Couchsurfing (or AirBnb) & come stay with those of us who have a spare room/bed etc for you in the places you wanna visit (if you feel comfortable) 🌹🌈☀ I'm in Adelaide (in my own place), your welcome to come stay here if you head this way... Or I can just show you around :-) Give you a ride along the coast (or in the hillside) on the back of my scooter haha couchsurfing.org/music-junkie was my old profile, but I haven't been on there in forever... Bit of a random suggestion, but you've got such a great little community here (& think most of us are 25-30ish)... You'd probably meet some lovely folk... & Save a fair bit of money, Australia's expensive :-p
I am the same with holidays carrie! Need a bit of culture I cannot just sit on a beach for 2 weeks.😂 I loved my school and college trips! My photography teacher ran the New York trip at my secondary school, could never afford it, but they did all the skyscrapers and a diner it was great. The best school trip was when I saw Wicked, The curious incident of the dog in the night time over two days. I loved the London trips I did with my photography class I learnt so much. Then at college I saw othello in the globe with my English crew and it was such an amazing day. The show was great but we danced to a busker, ate our lunch on the banks just the best memories on this trip. ❤
defo add new zealand to the list if you go all the way to aus 🥰 i moved to the netherlands from nz almost 3 years ago and i miss it SO much! the long journey is absolutely worth it for how gorgeous it is!!
I've always had a thing about Australia and I don't even know why but I'd love to go there one day. I'd love to explore more of Europe, I went to France for 3 days with school and I've been to Germany twice with my family, but would love to go see more of it. I never used to care for New York but as I've become a bigger musicals fan over the past few years I'd really love to go and see a Broadway show.
I live in NYC. It’s obviously very different right now. I’m homesick for the place I live. It was very nice to hear you guys say how much you liked New York. Thank you.
I’m in a long distance relationship and it’s been 3 months since we’ve seen each other.... so you could say holiday plans have been delayed or cancelled. (Ldr is literally cross the world). But I find travel so fascinating! I’m a TCK (third culture kid- means grew up in. A culture that is foreign than either of your parents culture) so I’ve been traveling since I was 3 months old. I’m far more comfortable in an airport than in a country- actually I have no idea where I’m from when people ask me where I’m fun. Man I love travel. Actually it was funny Oliver when you were in India because that was a very weird flashback home for me!
It’s so funny how everyone is always like I want to go to New York, living here is so different. I will say the city is definitely magical! I would love to go to Italy because of my Italian heritage. ♥️
Come to Adelaide during mad March!! Y'all will love it 😍 or just Adelaide at any time during the year - THE most underrated and unnecessarily hated Aussie city, it's honestly super beautiful
Oh gosh yeah, they'd love it at Fringe! Although it doesn't hold a candle compared to Edinburgh Fringe :-p But yes, I second heading Adelaide way in March for sure 🌹 Edit: Although, Carrie would probably love to soak up the hills, if she's writing whenever she comes? Beautiful place to sit & write... & Everyone is SO incredibly lovely up there ❤🌈☀
@@GreenRazzles Aww you poor bugger :-( Yeah, its pretty bloody great! When you eventually get to head over, try & stay the whole month if you can... Some of my best memories are my month I spent there during Fringe... Most hostels have "work-for-your-stay" things during that month (usually you work for 2-3hrs in the morning for that nights accommodation), which makes it much easier funds-wise obviously... Edinburgh has way more free Fringe stuff than what we seem to have here in Adelaide (granted I haven't been in Adelaide that long, so maybe I just haven't found it yet)... Sorry you had to cancel :-( At least we got pretty lucky here compared to other countries as far as restrictions go ❤ I was so chuffed when gyms & libraries were open again especially 😊🌈 Pretty random, but if you feel like a howdy in the flesh, gimme a yell? This community is bloody lovely, be great to bump heads :-) Assuming your 25-30ish as well of course? (Hard to know with youtube cuz there's so many kids, but Carrie/Ollie's folk seem to have mostly been here from the good ole days, so we're old farts now haha) - Anyway, bit random, but thought I may as well throw it out there if you want a howdy... Always nice to get offline, & everyone here's so lovely 😊🌈🔆 (No pressure, I know its a weird thing to say haha) EDIT: Maybe save it for a show actually... Make it less weird :-p I had to hunt to find someone who wanted to go see Heathers when it was on at Goodwood (that was so bloody good)... Might be good to go see a show when they're back on if you're down? Even though you don't know me from a bar of soap haha... I'm semi new to Adelaide (moved here for Flinders), so haven't done Fringe properly here yet, & only slightly dipped my toe in the theatre world down here (seen Heathers at Goodwood, & was going to improv classes before they got cancelled, but that's it)... So a theatre buddy would be grand if you want one too?
Im meant to go to Barcelona in August (don't think it'll happen now :( ) its my first proper holiday without family😂 my only other holiday i ever had was Australia! i highly recommend it, its beautiful!
The same thing happened to me when I was 20 & went on holiday to Ireland... I ended up just staying, when I'd already left all my stuff in Edinburgh (it was being held just temporarily in a storage space in a hostel till I got back, cuz it was only supposed to be 10 days)... Ended up signing a lease in Dublin, & only making a trip back over new yrs/hogmany to pick up my stuff (I called them after that first 10 days though, & they said I was fine to leave my stuff there for a couple of months if I paid them - I did, but my stuff had all been nicked, which was a big bummer... But still didn't regret it, loved the decision not to leave Dublin) ❤ But, your brother was 16... that is pretty crazy :-p Your parent's were pretty great/open minded to let him spread his wings that early 🌹🌈🔆 Edit: Woops I paused it to write that before you mentioned he was 18 not 16... Still, good on him :-)
I was supposed to go to Netherlands in May. I was going to see my first Eurovision live. It was also supposed to be my first solo trip. Ofc disappointed that I couldn't go but there will be next one so maybe hopefully next year.
I emigrated here 5 years ago and was the best decision I’ve ever made. I get to live and work in paradise everyday 😍🇦🇺 Plus, we now have zero covid cases here in WA and rules starting to get even more relaxed. Right, I’m off to the beach for my daily sunset 😉😎
I went to Alcudia when I was 10 haha. My dad took me and my sister and it was the last holiday abroad I had until I was 26! We vowed this year would be the year my husband and I travelled.....🤔🤔😂😂 maybe 2021 eh? Xx
My gram and one of my cousins was at Disney land on 9-11, the attacks happened in the morning, my cousin was 6. They decided to get there minds of it. No one was in the park, she said it was gloomy!!
My first time on the plane I was the child who cried that no one could get away from. I was 4 and my (rather sensitive) ears popped. The flight attendant gave me gum and I shut up.
As much as I like UA-cam and respect the content creators, I hate the term “influencers”. It suggests that all they do is to alter the viewers behaviour to buy something they wouldn’t have otherwise. There are those who “review” products to get a freebie or get sponsorship revenue, but those I have very little respect for.
i can’t just have a holiday sitting by the pool, i need to have a city break or a tourist attraction like a theme park where i can explore and embrace the culture
Isn't it mad that we have to actually say to people: 'don't inject or take in desinfectants' ??? I would love to go to Australia and New Zealand too...but I'm too scared of all the giant spiders and scorpions out there :s Oh and Hawaii... And we were supposed to go to Walt Disney World during the first week of April...we all know how that ended :(
Big 40, it’s hard to believe that we’ve been waking up with y’all for 40 whole days!!
it doesn't seem that long though
kaylem martin right! It feels like their first video was last week.
As an Australian I can highly recommend coming here! I love living here! Also add NZ to your list!
If you wanna go to Aussie, make sure you add NZ to your list! If you're coming all that way you might as well visit us too ahaha

I was in Disneyland at the same time as Carrie and Molly last year! 😂 I REALLY want to go to New York! ♥️
I went to new york on a sixth form trip too, was incredible to explore such a cool place with all my friends at like 17! We also saw Jersey Boys!
It’s so funny how everyone is always like I want to go to New York, living here is so different. I will say the city is definitely magical! I would love to go to Italy because of my Italian heritage. ♥️
Lanzarote is a really nice place to visit cos it has the sunny beaches but it also has the culture and little cute spots to visit

I also love a cathedral!
Love you guys! 💜

If you like Cathedrals you should come to York😊I'm biased but it is beautiful!🥰
YESS CARRIE PLEASE COME TO AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

Fun fact Viking was a verb not a noun. It meant to pillage.
Ah, singing on a cruise ship, that would explain the mustache
Hi guys Carrie should go to Malta it so good I love it love vlog x
It’s so crazy that your brother just stayed in a foreign country!!
My first time on the plane I was the child who cried that no one could get away from. I was 4 and my (rather sensitive) ears popped. The flight attendant gave me gum and I shut up.
Oli's daily advice: Don't eat raw chicken!
Carrie's daily advice: Don't inject yourself with disinfectant!
🤣🤣👏👏
You should do a Good Evening World where you do your ancestry kit?

You should come to NZ instead of Aussie cause we have the beautiful scenery without the scary animals 😂
