jack: oo this feels like spain to me!
I don’t get why geoguesser content doesn’t do well- it’s literally the best
A lot of people subscribed because of him trying to achieve a certain goal (like 'trying to learn all the flags'). In the geogeussr video titles there isnt really such a premise, and i suspect thats why they are being clicked less.
I think he should try a video concept like: 'Trying to get 100 countries in a row!' or 'Can I reach MASTER rank in COMPETITIVE GeoGuessr?' in order to increase viewer ship on these videos.
Cause i agree geoguessr content is amazing and i wish it had more views!

Lithuania and Poland are indeed very similar and in no way we take it as offensive.
Agree.
yeah they used to be 1 country
I take it as a compliment, love from Poland brother
As a Singaporean myself, I have so many things to say about the Singapore round.
1. Jack, fish markets (the literal first thing you saw when the round started), are iconic to Singapore. As well as most East Asian countries.
2. Singapore uses QR Codes for payment in terms of Grab, PayLah!, Fave and others, as seen by the QR code in blue and red backgrounds at 2:34
3. Hawker Centers. That is the defining point. When you see a hawker centre with this many people, the place is damn well Singapore.
4. The non-halal return tray stands are also iconic to Singapore, as we always return our food to these stands after we are done eating.
5. THERE IS LITERALLY A SINGAPORE FLAG AT 2:57 PAY MORE ATTENTION, JACK
6. OK, the .sg gave it away. BUT THE FIRST 5, ESPECIALLY NUMBER 5, SHOULD HAVE INSTANTLY MADE YOU CLICK SINGAPORE
I'm just a little biased as I am a Singaporean myself please don't kill me in the comments.
What does the no touting sign mean?
@@scottcarter6623 touting is when sellers come up in your face trying to sell their goods
Why so much text
The roof gave me singapore market vibes
'non halal return tray foods' ey? what makes it not halal and what would it look like if it were halal?
You are my favorite UA-camr and I love watching your videos and I also watch your videos every day and they also learn all 197 flags of the world and all 197 countries in the world and I go to 100% on both of them.
Hey Jack, I'm from Lithuania and at the end you said, that us and Poland have the same cultures. We are a bit similar, but it's still two different countries. Love from Lithuania!
Hey I'm from Poland 🇵🇱 and I agree with you cya!
Love from Poland brother!
Yeah we are a bit simular but we still are different countries🇱🇹🇵🇱❤
commonwealth moment (im from poland)
14:13 interestingly, the polish-lithuanian commonwealth lasted from 1569 to 1795 which was a union between the kingdom of poland and the grand duchy of lithuania
so it kinda makes sense that they have similar cultures
Just wanted to say this lol
Yeaaa..no. the Polish Lithuanian commonwealth was more like poland taking taking 50% of lithuanian land and making it into a greater poland. The poles ran the whole thing and lithuanians had basicly no power.
im in lithuanian xd
Cultures are a bit similar tho
not only that but geographically poland and lithuania are very similar, a part of poland and lithuania was also usually ruled by russia or the soviet union so they were also developing together after the commonwealth got invaded

You are right

Love how you got Denmark Norway then Sweden in a row
And then Iceland

"It's like Spanish or Portuguese or something" I mean to be fair, French IS a Romance language. But not quite like the others. Big tip, a word that shows up often in French rounds is "Sortie", this means exit. If you see the word "Sortie" like on this sign, then it's French
"prière de ne pas stationner" means "please do not park". "Please do not park" in Spanish would be "por favor no estacionar" or "no aparcar"

After I lived in Singapore for 8 and a half years, as soon as I saw the people and area in the Singapore round I knew it was Singapore right away. But good on you for looking for signs, and finding that website name. Just a tip, if you're in an area with many Asian-looking people, but English text your best bet is to choose Singapore.
Jack, if you see a sign with the letter Ø ø on it, then it is extremely likely either that it is Denmark, Norway, or the Faroe Islands, because that letter is only used in Danish, Norwegian, and Faroese. I find that knowing about languages helps a lot.
And if a word or placename ends with ej, you’re probably in Denmark
yeah, if theres Ø, you're either in denmark or norway. and once you know that, just look for any mountains, if there are mountains you're in norway, otherwise you're in denmark
Or, if there's an Ö, Å or Ä there's a great big chance you're in Sweden.
@@airconditionedBreeze or Finland
@@airconditionedBreeze ö and ä also exist in German countries, so Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Finally new Geoguessr videos. Hope they do as well as the other videos so we get more.
haha yeah
Good job jack you are improving
jack do a flag tier list!
I was in that exact shopping center for Battle Royale Distance and yeah, it's Singapore. For future reference, 74 percent of Singapore is ethnically Chinese. This is actually why they were kicked out of Malaysia, the ruling nationalist United Malays National Organisation didn't want to deal with their race riots. On top of the fact they disagreed on several issues and Indonesia committed many bombing incidents there (they were against the formation of Malaysia). Little did Malaysia know, they would regret this as Singapore soared into an economic powerhouse with Lee Kuan Yew at the helm.
29 percent of Singapore speaks Mandarin, with over 48 percent speaking English. Other official languages are Tamil and Malay.
Dude I swear I was there to. I lived in Singapore in 2015-2018
I lived in Singapore for 10 years and never knew that
Love the geoguessr videos Jack! I am glad to see another geogussr video
*kinda useful tip:* If there’s a lot of motorcycles everywhere and narrow streets, *it COULD* be Vietnam.
i love your videos
9:34
currently in stress, because it's clearly DENMARK, it has "Lundby" which is the definiton of danish, and "Æ" and "Ø", and only norway and Denmark (Some cases sweden) use that
C'mon Jack. Stork nests over posts like that are a totally Lithuanian thing. The white stork is the national bird of Lithuania. And comparing Poland to Lithuania is the same thing as comparing Ireland to England. They are similar and they have a similar history, but they are not the same. I am just kidding of course :). Great video!
He rushed that last round I think. Could have spent more time looking.
Stork nests are common in Poland as well
@@wojtiswaczyna2976 If I recall correctly Lithuania is known for the biggest stork dencity in the world.
P.S. I'm lazy to look that up....

as a lithuanian, as soon as I saw that landscape and the big nests I knew it was Lithuania. the birds that live in those big nests are storks, and they also are the national symbol of Lithuania.

Reminds me of the days of lockdown where me and my friends would sit in a discord call and pretend to be doing schoolwork while we played country streak looking at one person's stream. Our best was 58!
The shape you were saying was the shape of denmark, is a actually the shape of a little island underneath one of the main islands of denmark.
12:18 shoutouts to that ostritch btw me new subscriber :D
That sign in denmark "børn på vej" basically means "watch out for the children"
" Somewhere in South America, Mexico or Brazil"
Me: Has the Border between the Americas moved?
Also that Denmark drawing was of the territory, not the country shape
Having a nest on a pole is considered to be a sign of luck in Lithuania and if there's a nest on a roof it is said that those people have a good heart
Nice video
2:26 once i saw that store, i knew it was a food court in singapore. 1/3 of the food courts have mini shops.
Finally ! Jack makes geogusser who remembers the old days ! ☝️
Hey Jack, i suggest to you, to learn the different road signs, e.g. the M for Motorway in the UK, to get another clue. Because in the Malaysian part, there was a blue sign with a yellow part on it, that market the national roads in Malaysia. Hope you find the comment. ❤️

Poland and Lithuania were the same country (in a union) for hundreds of years, so it makes sense that they are culturally similar!
Well, Poland and Lithuania were in a union from 1569 to 1795 so it would make sense if we're a bit similar. The stork nests kinda give it away though because storks are Lithuania's national birds.
In the Denmark round, the outline on that sign is not a wonky version of Jutland. It actually said it on the sign (but you'd have to be local to recognise it, I reckon - said the local😅); it is the island of Tåsinge. It is located near Svendborg on the south coast of Fyn/Funen (the middle "main part" of the country, between Jutland and Sealand).

Now im danish right, and i really like that your said about denmark about its comfortable and that, but your pronouncations is preatty funny in my opinion, u acually said the ø sound nearly correctly but, the sentence is preatty bad, sry but it is ngl xD
Crossing out town names as you leave and stork nests on lamp posts also happen in Portugal, and probably other places in Europe too, not just Poland.

Geography classes don't focus on countries and flags lmao, it mainly about different cultures and landscapes. You're not going to be needing to know all 197 countries
Nice cap
For future refrence with denmark, (since Im from there) we use our flag ALOT! If you have a birthday thats the flag you hang up on the wall, and they Can be found on busses too. If you are in copenhagen (Shelland) you Will find more cafés,houses, library’s,etc But if you are in Jylland,Århus,or Bornholm they use the color Yellow alot on houses. Here is some typical danish grocery stores for example: netto, rema 1000, Brugsen, and more
8:53 - that's Denmark (i think) as the font on the sign is the same font they use in the shop flying tiger (which is in the UK) and flying tiger is in the UK and Denmark.
5:06 aw that's sad
11:10 That is south africa, the language on the sign is called afrikaans, native to South Africa. Plus you can see the areas details, it already looks like it
