Ruckman is a joy. Only mistake I've heard him make is that Lazarus was saved. No. Only after the resurrection are we saved. Lazarus dies with faith pre resurrection and is tajen to Abraham's bosom, also called 'paradise' by Jesus on the cross. Jesus rose to go sprinkle his blood on the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies NOT MADE WITH HANDS. After that, we go to heaven not to Abraham's bosom.
I get what you're getting at but he was saved before he died. It's the same for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Samson, David, Joseph, etc. They believed God for the prophecy of the one to come and it was their faith that was counted for righteousness.
Abraham's bosom was the place for people who believed in the coming messiah, like an intermediary place. That was the space for the spirit of man, which was in the same space as Hell, separated by a great chasm.
Different place for a different dispensation, which is why Christ spent that time in Hell, to preach a more perfect Gospel.
He was still saved!! He didn't go to hell, did he?????? Wake up!! Not a mistake by Ruckman!
