I'm disappointed but not surprised that Hyper Sonic wasn't made into a pop, Sega has said that Hyper Sonic is effectively retired. Would've been awesome but the form only made one appearance nearly 30 years ago

When I saw the announcement for the new sonic wave, easy to say that I’m overly excited to pick them all up. I remember seeing awhile ago more rumored sonic pops like a flocked Amy, super sonic & super shadow GITD 2-pack, movie sonic, team chaotix 3-pack (vector, charmy, espio), and a deluxe super sonic with the 7 chaos emeralds. Regardless as a sonic fan I am very happy
2:52 That artwork is fanmade, the only version of Hyper Sonic there is is a CLASSIC version from Sonic 3 (The hyper state isn't even mentioned after that) that has a completely different design. Also, the pose that fanart is doing wasn't even made by the artist, there's a piece of OFFICIAL Super Sonic stock artwork that does almost the same pose.
It was still supposed to be Hyper Sonic as per the retailer it's going to and the description written by Funko on the listing. Regardless of the artwork, funko didn't make Hyper with the colors it was supposed to have.

I bet the leakers just got it wrong, and it was always just a Diamond chase with a different mold. Looks awesome to me, and the chase is the best mold in my opinion. If i was funko id put stuff in the system like that so ppl cant just leak everything on them, has to be some sorta surprise!
Kinda upset we didnt her hyper sonic since he was a unique added feature for beating the sonic & knuckles 3 game twice and collecting 14 emeralds hope we can see him in the future because he would be a grail ❤
