Epic Games actually puts a lot of money back into the gaming community with free projects such as unreal engine that make thousands of games possible. They also stick up for smaller tech companies and indie developers by filing lawsuits against apple for taking 30% of their profits on the apple App Store. Many popular games today would not be possible without the work that epic games has put into this ge community and every dollar they get to keep from this, they will be able to continue to use to support the gaming scene and game developers.
