This will be from 1993. That was the year we dressed up the 765 to look like a C&O “Kanawha” and numbered her 2765.

It would be cool to see NKP 765 dressed up as a Kanawha again when C&O 2716 is finished being restored to give a fellow 2-8-4 a welcome back.

It’s upsetting how mainline steam excursion operations aren’t like this anymore. Wish they will just come back to the mainline in the future! Who agrees with me?

Man they put on a great show as always back in the old days! 765 looked pretty cool as C&O 2765! Can't wait for C&O 2716 to return. 28:56 what is the secondary whistle? Sounds just like OHCR #1293's whistle.

It might also be S&A #750’s 5 chime (correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they exchanged whistles at one point in their careers)
Or it could be the Lima 5 chime whistle, who knows.

She had two whistles for these trips. The main Nathan 6 chime on the engineers side, and some sort of five chime on the fireman’s side. She carried a C&O hooter later that year on the fireman’s side, during the new river runs.
