How to use creative mode with achievements on! (For PS4)

- This is a guide i found for getting achievements in Minecraft PS4 edition.
eight easy steps
Step One: Create a new world (With cheats off and achievements on)
Step Two: Change default gamemode to creative
Step Three: Type /give @s command_block 2
Step Four: Place two command blocks down, Then get two buttons and place a button on each command block
Optional: Label each command block using the hover note feature
Step Five: Type /Gamemode C @a in the creative command block
Step Six: Type /Gamemode S @a in the survival command block
Step Seven: Wait between fifteen to thirty seconds then close application
Step Eight: Reopen application, Rejoin world then you should be in Survival again then click the Creative button to be in Creative or the Survival button to be in Survival, Then you will have access to Creative mode with achievements on.

I had a person named Nima tell me how to do the glitch on a pre-made world.
The following steps allows you to do the glitch for a pre-existing survival world. Confirmed on ps5. The trick is to avoid seeing the autosave icon while in creative mode. Before you start make sure you turn off multiplayer for the world.
Step1. Copy your world, enter the copy, save-quit and reenter as fast as possible. Wait until the first autosave icon appears and disappears (this step is to buy us time before the next autosave occurs).
Step2. DO THIS FAST! Switch to creative mode (no need for enabling cheats and using command). Enter “/give @p command_block”, execute and place two command blocks, wait for around 3 seconds, and force-quit from the home menu. If you see the autosave icon while you do this it’s screwed. When you reload the game, it might show “Creative” on the menu but it should be reversed to survival once you open the world, with achievements on.
Step3. Repeat Step1, quickly switch to creative and enter each command blocks the codes “/gamemode c @a” and “/gamemode s @a”, wait 5 seconds and force-quit. Put buttons later and that’s it!
Thanks to Nima I'm able to improve the glitch, I would never have known about this and wouldn't be able to share it with anyone if she didn't tell me how to do it on a pre-existing world.

Nope, You wont. Thats why the glitch is great, You do it once as of August 21st 2024 and its done forever. Permanent.

Hey bro great video. Do you know if this works in an already created world because I accidentally enabled cheats in a survival world that I have for 3 years and I can't get any achievements
Uh yeah! In the description, There is a tutorial for how to do it on an already created world. A Japanese subscriber helped with that, Although i don't think you can convert your world back to achievements on. You could use a device to edit your minecraft save though, They are kind of expensive but it definitely works.

If it shows that in the world, it means the glitch was most likely done wrong or done on the wrong device. Are you on Ps4? I have another guide in instructions in the description, It should help for old worlds.
I was able to get it to work on a new world 100% of the time, but unable on a world that i previously already made with no cheats.

@@munkjunn it should still work on PS5, and as of 2024 october 12. It should still work, If you want. You could check the patch notes each update to see if they patch it out. Its pretty unlikely though cause its been unpatched for a while.

You can only use it in worlds which have been newly created. What language do you speak natively?

Yep, If you complete them in creative they count like they would in survival. Check to see if the glitch was done correctly by checking the settings menu and looking for whether it says achievement can't be earned or if there is nothing there. If theres nothing there, You did it right, Its easy to get the timing wrong though.

for passing the time, can i just use the /time command and keep switching the time or no.
Im not sure, If you set the tick speed really high it might work but I still dont know. Honestly you might have to do it legit, I think mc counts how many days you've played but give it a go, If it works I'll be able to let others know.

this still works , but i have a question if u wanna destroy the blocks will u be able to switch to survival and creative or how do u use the blocks again after u destroyed them?
You're not supposed to destroy the command blocks, Keep them up but you use the command blocks again by placing a button down and clicking it.

It does need to be used on a new world, I have a guide for how to do it in already made worlds but I'm not sure if it fully works or is coherent enough for someone to be able to fully understand it.

Uh, just switch it bsck to survival with the other command block? Im kinda confused by the question, If it's saying 'trophies cannot be earned in this world' then that means the glitch was done incorrectly, Whether there was a slight mistake in timing or a big mistake.

You could try waiting longer or less when the command blocks are placed, It's usually a time thing so try different times, Maybe wait ten seconds one time, 20 seconds one time or 30 seconds one time.

If it auto saves as I’m getting items from creative and later close the game/leave the world after pressing the survival button, it stays as an achievement world right ?
You can safely go in and out of both modes without achievements being turned off since command blocks bypass the whole trade-off achievement option.

What about the passing time achievement on PlayStation how can i speed it up with cheats does it work
I think maybe changing tick speed? Not sure if that'd work since its a timed thing...If it works right you might be able to.
For step 7 do you save and quit or quit without saving
You quit without saving, That way it glitches out the game and only saves part of it.

Still works but if everyone is not getting the achievements you have to switch back to survival after getting all the materials you need

Hey any idea on how long you can stay in creative after the glitch can i be in creative for as long as i want or is there a timer for the trophies not to pop again
It works an infinite amount of time as long as you don't destroy the command blocks.
It didn’t work is it because after step six are we supposed to be on survival then for eight we click the creative button?

For step six, You have the command blocks written out, For step eight you reopen the application. Basically you write the command blocks, From survival preferably and wait like 10 to 20 seconds. Then you close your application, And then reopen it. Don't leave the game, Close the application and everything should work. Please let me know if i helped.

Alr the main reason I’m gonna try this is because I fell in lava and lost all of my stuff and I don’t wanna do everything AGAIN cuz that was really expensive and took a long while. Does this still work now?
Yep, It still works! Honestly it was annoying getting all my shit back after dying to lava, Now I just use strategies go get stacked gear really fast. This glitch is a better alternative to that though cause its really easy!

Still works on ps5. Both pre-existing worlds and new worlds. I did a brand new world, and then I tried it on a copy of my realms world. The trick is not to move around and do too many actions. Just do exactly what's needed to complete the glitch. And close the application from the console menu!! (Most important step!!) Don't save and quit the world...
As an aside, I used to have to upload a world to realms, jump on a computer, and download the world. Use a memory editor to change game mode and give myself command blocks, enter the commands, and then use the memory editor again to reverse game mode changes to default and then re-upload to realms for my hacked console worlds.... this way is soooooo much simpler! Thanks for the trick! Great video!

For some reason my survival world can’t earn trophies even though I never changed any settings
I'm not sure why it does that, It's most likely a glitch. You could try importing the world to your phone and switching it to a full survival world but i don't know how to.

Ooo, I love ps3 and xbox360 minecraft, There are some glitches to get infinite resources in minecraft ps3. Just break a chest full of whatever you want to duplicate and pause the game at the exact time it breaks. Then close the application and start it back up and it should double it. This specific glitch doesn't work for ps3 or xbox 360 minecraft but there are tons of glitches for those older versions of minecraft.

It still stated that I will not gain any achievements or trophies anymore in my current world and your video didn't continue to play after the glitch is done to show that you still gain trophies.
UPDATE.
Had to retry this method again on a new save. My old saved world is already a goner. Can't gain any achievements anymore cuz I think I messed it up I guess.
So the key is to do it fast. I would suggest doing it in a new world just to be safe. You need to input the commands as fast as you could so that the game couldn't register that you've already change game modes properly.
After you close the application and reopen it again, if you see the world that you created just now is stated "Survival" instead of Creative (Cuz you changed it recently for the glitch) that means the glitch works.
To double check, once you enter the world if you open the pause menu and go through settings, there will be no pop up saying "You can't gain any trophies from this world".
I'm playing it in PS4 Pro, Minecraft update 1.20.
Wish the video explain it more detail in the video rather than explaining it in the video description.

Yep, Sorry I got to your comment a week late. Mojang probably is not gonna patch it, I only see them patching it if there is a major major update. Even then, The chances are slim.

I got it to work with a new world but I can’t get it to work on a past world that had achievements disables
That makes sense, It doesn't work on already made worlds, It won't convert it to have achievements on.

How just close the game or turn off playstation?
Close the application, Its super easy and it even works on xbox! You could possibly eject the disk instead if you can't close the application on time, This should work the same way and be easier.

Does the thing that make it work when the game partially saves but doesn’t remember where you were so it just goes by default thinking you can still get achievements while still having the command blocks placed

I know how it works, it basically only saves you being in survival and it doesn’t save the creative with achievements off. So, the game thinks you didn’t turn off achievements, even though you did. I figured this out myself since I have done many glitches.

@@NukeBoyYT I have attempted this multiple times now, 5 tries later and the only issue is that cheats remain enabled regardless of doing it faster than the game can save or doing it slower so it can save.

You could be messing up something simple, That's usually what i do or it could be messing up, You should try to stay calm and check every step carefully.

Yes and no, When you do the glitch correctly, It doesn't show that achievements can be earned, If you do it wrong it'll say achievements can't be earned. As long as it doesn't say achievements can't be earned, Then they can.
Did it get patched? Because when I did the exact steps it didn't work pls respond
I don't think the glitch is passed, I've had people say it worked recently. Sometimes people make very minor mistakes on the command block section, I have an alternate guide on the description of the video if that helps.

I don't believe capitals matter much but yes, Waiting 20 seconds is optimal but you could always try 10 to 30 of it doesn't work. If you need a walk through, I'm here.

how do i re enable achievements on a world i accidentally changed to creative on my ps5 ?
There doesn't seem to be a way to do it, I'm sorry for that man. You can try to find help onlime though. I can try to find some people to help you but I'm not sure if they're able to.

For some people it does work, Try changing the autosave settings. Sometimes people don't type the command blocks in, I personally make mistakes like that from time to time. If you need anymore help just reply to this reply and I'll send you my discord so i can help you with the glitch.
