I love this song and I think she sang so beautifully, but I hate how she changes the bridge… the whole song is building up to “Oh, yeah, I'm dead I'm dead in the water
Oh, still looking for you, for you, for you… “ but when she changes it loses momentum and doesn’t sound as emotional as the song is
Technically speaking, she's just come down from some of the hardest parts to sing in her entire discography so to go into more hard notes would be tough. But personally, I love how desperate her voice sounds, like it needs to be heard

Ellie Goulding lost me as a long time fan when she did not sing any of my songs from Higher than Heaven including the title song. She did not sing Midnight Dreams or my favorite Love goes on and on. She did not sing Like a Savior or Intuition. She sang Love me like you do.
You always promote your new albums. That is how you sell new albums.
She is more like a 1950-1960-s stand still singer. That does not work in this era, I am done with Goulding.
She was not there to promote her Higher Than Heaven album. It is the series of her classical concerts in US. As Ellie always loved classical music from her heart since her childhood so always wanted to sing her songs (all) with classical instruments. Also she said that American audience don't know her personality or as an artist who she is. That's why she chose to show THE REAL SIDE of herself by singing her PERSONAL ALBUMS like Brightest Blue/ Halcyon/Bright Lights songs unlike her NON PERSONAL albums like Delirium or Higher Than Heaven
💀💀 why would you stop being a fan just because she didn’t perform any of your favorites lol. If her last record included your favorite song from her and you don’t like her anymore that makes zero sense
