Such a nice build. Curious if it needs a tune since it's got intakes and exhaust? I imagine it would run pretty lean unless the ecu really adjusts accordingly.
Was wondering the same. Looks good but there's literally zero input on if it rides the same, better or is now much worse. Having that extra input in these videos would certainly be welcomed.
So cool, great to see so many original touches. Not sure about the noise, the fun runs out when you get pulled over every five minutes. Would love to see a Speed Twin on here
Awesome build guys. The under seat seat pipes are crazy cool. And totally agree about the quality of Vikings seats. Your next videos are much anticipated!
Amazing result overall, the seat and tail unit look fantastic, would love that on my RS. I have mixed feelings about the front mudguard, it feels visually heavy, and too fussy, I'm not sure it's an improvement over the stock one? A shorter version of the stock mudguard would have done the trick for me. I'd also prefer the key barrel kept in the original location, and incorporated into the new top yoke, it feels a bit untidy on the side. Removing the cat and re routing the exhaust leaves a void in the frame below the radiator... not necessarily bad, it just catches my eye.
i still come back and watch this video again and again, is there a possibility to see the exhaust and the seat in the shop? or any other parts from this masterpiece?
Love the bike and love those pipes too….. awesome! My only query is why retain the plastic front brake reservoir rather than something a little more trick?
Suggest Black Anodized Fork Stanchions otherwise perfect Question Do you manufacture the seat and tail End as a kit I’ve got a very nice Thurxton R in Thailand a lot of work completed I do like that back end…!!!
The proportions look spot on. Color is a personal preference, I went candy apple red with gold leaf. The under seat exhaust and electronics were sweet. I do drag racing and land speed racing so of course my choices lean a slightly different way but I sure appreciate your skills and now I'm a subscriber. I look forward to more outstanding builds.
Amazing build. I personally would prefer a darker, deeper blue for the fuel tank. But that's just a matter of taste. It looks great, with all these details.
The blacked out motor parts look good with the silver hardware. I might do that to my Scrambler 1200 XC. Not sure if I should powercoat, paint, or replace the silver parts with carbon. A Classic bike with carbon and titanium might be interesting, like two worlds colliding.
Nice work. I can appreciate that you ask for comments on things we like and dont like. Love the rumble and intricacies of the exhaust and the light pastel blue tank and suede seat. It would be rude to comment on the things I dont care for, as in the end this is a really clean and faultless build.. I also have an RS that is fully done up, so clearly I am biased towards my own style chosen... hated the tri color livery on mine and battled for months on how to change the tank/tail color and remove some of the black out bits in favor of brushed aluminum... in the end, stock livery won, and went full blackout -- swingarm, triple and clamps, and probably the forks and shocks are next on that list. I'd like to see you do some more custom headlight work, 5" or 7" --- I went with the Nolden gen2 bi led with dark chrome inner housing, with a gauge and headlight lowering kit, and it has been one of my favorite mods. I think taking a similar headlight, baking the lens for removal and doing some custom paintwork in the innards can really setoff a build. Thanks for sharing your craft! Will visit your shop for a couple bits from this build.
Appreciate it Christian and yeah that sounds great glad we could offer some insight with our videos, goodluck with the build would love to see some photos when it's finished 😊
@@ThorntonHundredMotorcycles for sure, you da man! I put up a UA-cam stories shot not too long ago, but been meaning to shoot a fresh one. I’ll reply again here when I post a new one.
Favourite Thruxton I’ve seen yet. I’d want a little quarter mudguard to protect those air filters from road grime and debris flicking up if caught in some inclement weather. Though I’m guessing this is a sunny day ride only bike. Top build 🏍️ keep up the quality customs parts legends.
Well done 👏 TH team.. I'm a follower from Singapore 🇸🇬. I like how you custom your bikes neat and tidy.. been watching all your videos 📹 😍 keep up the good work.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I gave it 5 stars because they don’t make a 6 ! You are giving TR’s a new well deserved reputation of power/beauty and quality. Go with the technology … 3D Metal printing too….!
OMG that back end looks so good , and the sound is insane.😱 It may be just me but would some kind of black pin stipe on the tank help fill it in a bit ? or is that old fashion? Cheers from NZ.
Hi guys....awesome work indeed. A few items I would change.....smaller mirrors or painted all black as they dont seem in proportion to the bike.....less 'bracketry' on the mudguard, looks bulky and would look good painted the same colour as the tank to lift the bike from mainly black, slightly larger tail unit and same colour as bike as it looks as though it isnt finished to me. The area under seat does not look finished, as though it is waiting for the final part. Just my thoughts guys but I really appreciate your work. Take care.
What a great looking build. Sounds great too. I just picked up my own 2023 Chrome Edition RS and I’m loving it so far. I will soon start some mods, can I ask how you install the Motogadget M.Blaze Bar End indicators? I watched a few of you videos and you use them often. In the Bobber video I can see that you use a Reciprocating Saw to cut the ends off, then a grinder to smooth the cut. Do you then just drill them out for the indicators to fit inside? Any tips would be great. Thanks
Hello, just a great job, maybe a little loud...! And hot with these exhausts just under the seat and closed to the inlet...! I have some bad memory with high exhaust on my two speed triple (2007 and 2014) with always a strong smell of gas after the ride..!!! Thanks anyway for sharing, just a great pleasure to enjoy such a skill..
Looks great. I think I would put a mud guard in the rear. Not a fender, but a sculpted guard near the filters and going up for some protection. Just saying. ;-)
Some incredible modifications here, nice one Jody. It sounds like a Merlin engine starting up! I thought I had made my Thruxton R pretty much perfect, but now I'm doubting myself! :D
It looks fantastic. The one thing I might change is the back end. I feel it looks a bit too sharp, when the rest of the bike seems more "round". And that color combo gives me 50's vibes which I love, and a rounder back end would match that too. But... It still looks fantastic.
Love your work!! Absolutely stunning master pieces. I’m wondering with the Bonniville’s can you put a saddle seat in rather than the standard length seat? My guess is no due to the frame however can you modify the frame to be more like a bobber frame?
It's a beautiful bike guys, well done! The only things I would change are the colour and have the exhaust quieter, both of which are down to personal taste, otherwise it would be spot on for me! 😃👍
I like the bike , but I think the size of the headlight looks a little out of proportion? And I like the old seat cowling on the end but a but more custom? Otherwise the shap and that exhaust looks awesome
please help me decide what to customize on a budget? I like your Ducati customized after seeing yours but, is the Triumph more fun to ride - sure seems so?..as i see Monsters and Hypermotard at good prices here in winter in Minnesota. I see the Thruxton 900 (what year do you recommend) make a great custom with the higher bars from the Speed Twin are comfortable. Riding 35 years and ride weekends for 1 to 3 hours up and down the Mississippi 6 months of the year. Thank you!
Stunning! Gonna check out the parts in your shop for my ThruxtonR
Legend, Happy to hear it Nick!
Wish you guys were in SA as I can't get advise on my Triumph Thruxton 1200 r cold start issue

Very nice build! Do you always build triumphs or do you work on another brands as well? Would love to see some interceptor 650 in the garage!
Such a beautiful and unique built 😱
Wow, what a UA-cam channel this is, and I thought the Thruxton rs looked perfect before. How wrong was I, hats off to you boys 👍
Brilliant ! You need to add the parts for the rear lights on your shop quick !!! I need them for my Thruxton RS

Beautiful ride my friend
Beauty mate
hello there greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
hello mate🙌🏼
Beautiful. One question though… the way the piping now goes… it looks like it gets very close to your legs… is this not very likely to burn your leg…?
No, never had an issue.
Very skillful for a dry weather showpiece
Awesome mate just awesome...But I wonder If It would look even better If you guys had painted the tail section the same color as the tank .
Truly lovely. I can't afford the bike but I might consider a TH t-shirt with 'I'm super excited' or 'I'm super happy' :)
Beautiful bike Mister.
Some incredible modifications here, nice one Jody. It sounds like a Merlin engine starting up! I thought I had made my Thruxton R pretty much perfect, but now I'm doubting myself! :D
Haha thanks dude, we're pretty happy with it! Thats the thing building a project bike there's always more you could do 😂

The same to me, the end of the bike shold be more rounded and more in a almost straight line and just in the end light rounded

Fantastic machine, not sure about the minty freshness tho or the colour of the seat. Nice job 👍
Suede seat is a lovely touch. Would love to hear it on a fly by video
Love to see what you could do to a RE Interceptor.
Awesome bike 👍
I like the bike , but I think the size of the headlight looks a little out of proportion? And I like the old seat cowling on the end but a but more custom? Otherwise the shap and that exhaust looks awesome
