In this painting video, I’m working on a raw canvas that’s a bit smaller than my last one. I’m starting with some soft sunset colors and adding pops of turquoise and cream to bring in freshness. It’s been a bit of a struggle with some parts, but I’m pushing through and loving how it’s coming together. Minimalist vibes, lots of layers, and a bit of trial and error-come along and let me know what you think! 🎨
Thank you so much for watching and supporting my art journey! I’d love to hear your thoughts, the good and the bad. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you want to see more. See you next Saturday

Hello...What a beautiful painting! I tried going to your link of supplies above but the section to "sign up below for the guide" is not loading. I also tried getting there thru your home page on your website and it isn't loading there either. Is there somewhere else I can access it? Thanks 🙂
I'm sooo excited to see you switch to landscape! That's what I'm more comfortable with,so for me this is very exciting 😀 I'll be watching, and waiting for new videos to come out! Thank you rinske for giving me,and so many others inspiration
I really like your new paintings. Very subtle colours and misty looking. I did really enjoy your previous paintings and the vibrancy and flow of the design. You are an amazing artist and whatever style you choose I am sure your followers will enjoy. You give such inspiration to everyone and you're not afraid of trying different things. ❤
I began painting when I was 10 years old, I am now 70 years young. My art has changed in so many ways over the years. It is much like life, ever changing, ever evolving. It must change or we become stagnant. I have also learned after selling much of my work, that everyone of course has different tastes and view art in such different ways that we can never please everyone. And because of this, I now please myself and no longer worry about what others think. It should never be about profit or accolades. If you are enjoying what you do that is the main point. If not, you will find what does make your heart sing. After years of working with oils and acrylics I recently took up water colors, new challenges make us grow. I am loving the experience and don’t care what people think. Good luck and God bless.
I’m 69 but I started with watercolour. The hardest medium in my opinion. I love my art it relaxes me 😊
We are watching the ongoing evolution of an artist. What could be more encouraging for us?! I really enjoy the calm and quiet atmosphere and dialogue of your videos. You’re a joy to watch. Keep sharing with us! ❤
I love all your work and I think it’s great that you switch it up. It’s so fun to create something different and exciting and you are always very inspiring. I think Mike myself I’ve been very busy at late but when things start to settle down a bit I’m going to save this video so I can possibly Try to switch it up like you are and I would love to try to do something minimalist which I’ve always struggled with, but I enjoy very much your style of this landscape. I can’t wait to try it when I have time hopefully soon.
I am 67 years old now, started painting when I was 5 with finger paints. My Father is a talented realist portrait oil painter. As I grew up, taking classes in school, I found that My works could never compare with Papas. He would critique and help me to become better. But I never had the natural talent as him. So early on, about the age of 16, I noticed I had to find my own way in the art world. I worked with every medium I could get exposed to. Introducing Papa to the new art too. working in watercolor, clay, paper, ceramic, wood. He even went to classes with me. Papa is 93 now, can't paint any more, but I have such great connection with him starting with our time with finger painting and play doh , art has played a big part on our lives. He still thrived in oils and I found my love of abstracts. (which took Papa a while to appreciate being a realist) Do what you love!
We ❤❤❤ you Rinske no matter how you great us or send us off for a moment or a time .
A true artist is not bound by one particular style, medium, genre. You are an ARTIST Rinske ❤
Dear sweet, sweet, Rinske. Your paints, paint brushes, and canvass are just the tools you use to express what's in your heart and soul. As your soul evolves, so does your artwork. You need no one's approval for you already have God's. Just enjoy the peacefulness it brings you and don't question it. ❤
Landscape paintings are good. But I love your Botanical paintings and I watch your videos for every day. You are the best artist, I am your fun!!!😍
Rinske, you are an amazing artist. All your work is inspiring and motivates us to try new things. Yes some styles appeal to me more than others but I love watching you. The softness and serenity of your teaching reminds me of a beach and feeling a soft breeze. As the breeze picks up I become more excited and want to practice what you have taught. At the moment I am working through your botanical course and loving it. I always check the thumbs up icon but don't write a comment because of filling up your page. I WILL change that. Comments, here I come!🥰
Im sorry I haven’t been watching. Back in July my shoulder began hurting me with so much pain. I had been getting steroid injections in the shoulder but they stopped working. The pain was so bad.And because I had the steroid injection I had to wait 2 weeks before they could do surgery. So I had surgery on August 12. The doctor had to do a complete shoulder replacement even the cushion that holds the ball was completely worn out gone. I have been in a brace for 6 weeks. But thanks goodness the pain I had after surgery was nothing to the pain I had before surgery. So I will see my surgeon again in 3 days. Hopefully I’ll be coming out of the brace. Then I was sitting on couch I could not do anything. So we went on 2 week vacation to Yellow Stone. It was a long road trip, but I couldn’t do anything. So that is why I haven’t been watching. But I have always loved watching you paint. I can’t wait to get back to painting.
Dear Rinske. I do love every thing you paint and new directions you take! I follow you now for many years and you never have desapointed me! Go on and you have my support! Hugs from Spain!❤❤❤
Your landscapes are on another level. Compared to botanicals ... apples and oranges. The calming effect of the landscape.. actually made me emotional. You don't need feedback. Your creative soul will lead you. Beautiful, Rinska. Can't thank you enough, for letting be part of this.❤
Rinske, I applaud you for asking in your email to subscribers what we think about the new landscape direction. That takes courage. My opinion- you’ve always been a trendsetter! With the landscapes, understanding how difficult they can be, everyone does them. I can buy something similar in any art store in my state. I also wonder how marketable they are-how many landscapes does one want in their home or office? Again, you asked. I adore you and your question for new direction. But landscapes, ugh, not so much. ❤
This is the way I enjoy painting! I love minimalist painting. They can be so dramatic with just a few colors. Keep this up!!!!!
Dear Rinske, As the saying goes... "You do You!" Of course someone with your talent needs to continue to expand your horizons, even if we newbies can't quite keep up! I have only been painting for 8 months and LOVE your Dutch Pour class, although I have yet to get a flower worth resining. I would not dream of doing botanicals, let alone landscapes yet. Maybe in a few years. Still, you are always fun to watch.
I love your botanicals but I’m also loving your landscapes. The way you blend the soft colors together gives it a watercolor effect. Keep evolving and growing in your artistry. ❤
You create art like a professional pianist plays a piano ... amazing to watch ✨
Ahwww too big of a compliment! Thank you!!!
This is so serene and beautiful ❤ I love all your artwork. I’m currently going through an episode of severe depression. Watching these new pieces come to life is very calming. I find your voice is very therapeutic. Thank you Rinske.
WOW! Absolutely beautiful. These two pieces have such a calming effect on me. I could sit and stare at them all day long. They speak to my soul! Absolutely loved ve the both pieces, Rinske. It wonderful to see you grow into the very talented and incredible artist, that you truly are 😍♥️🌹🌹🌹
We all have exciting and peaceful moments in our lives. Your artwork is an expression of those moments. I love ❤️ the landscapes and your botanicals and pours. As an artist, for best results, you have to be true to what you feel in that moment. Your artwork exemplifies your authenticity. 😊
THANK YOU!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Rinske, super soft and warm. Pull up a chair and glass of wine! Love this. Cindy Wilkin
And some cheese❤️
Have no worries about your Art. Each piece is beautiful in its own way ❤️
Thank you so much!!❤️
Hi Rinkse. I started painting when COVID hit. I never felt I was an "artist" but had so much fun watching your videos, taking your courses, I learned so much. Now, I still learn, evolve, along with you. Your spirit and soul is put onto canvas and, I'm sure I speak for everyone who follows you, we feel it. Keep being you! We are all artists! We all change, evolve! Love, love, your videos and talent. ❤
These landscape paintings are so beautiful and soothing. It’s amazing what you have done with minimal strokes to create a masterpiece. So inspiring. ❤thank you for sharing your technique so freely.
I love the new paintings. It’s always nice to see changes. It doesn’t mean I didn’t like the botanicals. It just means I like more than one style. I like a mixture of styles.
Hi Rinske I’m one of your student in your A to Z course and you been my inspiration to start my painting career and I love ❤️ your new landscaping project they are so beautiful and elegant 😍💕💐🇦🇺
Thank you so much!❤️ means a lot!
I love your art. To me, it is the freedom to express beauty. I personally like the change, it's shoes me your true artistic abilities. Stay true to your passion and heart. I would also enjoy learning this technique. Love you and your art.❤❤
I wanted to let you know that I used to watch you a lot during the Dutch pours and I watched a few of your botanicals, but I didn’t have the brush that you had and so I I didn’t watch it very long but when you came out with this new pieces I’m so fascinated and I love watching them. I love watching the landscape and I love how minimal it is and how doable it feels to me.
I love this new style of art you are doing Rinske. You always make it look so effortless so when you say you are struggling with anything at all in your paintings it makes me feel that you too have struggles and I’m not the only one lol. But seriously these painting series is beautiful and so calming for me to watch. Thank you for sharing ❤
Whichever style you do, your talent shines through. Whether Dutch pour, botanical or abstract landscape, your art is absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing your artistic evolution with us. It's a real privilege I look forward to every week💮💮💮
Love your new direction in the landscapes. Don’t worry Im sure a lot of your watchers are busy with the season with holidays, kids or gardening.. Your an amazing artist.😍
🩷🩷🩷 thank you!!!
I love the landscape paintings. I love the way you revolve your art. You are not doing the same thing over and over. The landscape might be my favorite
This is my reply to your last Email. I still watch. Your pourings, your dutch blooms...everything is inspiring! In the beginning the pourings used so much paint. And now so less paint. All your works are beautiful and i envy you for your ideas. For the moment i have my own projekt, but i am still here watching every saturday. So thank you dear Rinske. Greetings from Deutschland
Hi Rinske, I am following your journey since the first videos were posted. I am inspired by your paintings and wish you all the best in the creation of your newest “landscaping” project. 😊 Have a wonderful holiday with your Mama and your little son and come back home with fresh ideas to celebrate your talent. Love ❤ from 🌏 Australia
Love watching and learning. I like the way you are honest with showing how you too, sometimes have doubt about where to put the next stroke, but you are brave! I like that! And you have a delightful giggle and carefree spirit. Thank you Rinske for sharing.
I love this painting very much. It gives a certain serene feeling which is missing so much in my life. To watch you paint is like meditation. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m looking forward to see your next one. Can you lull me if it’s only paint and water? Do continue this voyage you’ve started and we all shall follow. 💜💛💜
I love how you have evolved over the last few years, you are an inspiration
Don’t ever doubt yourself - go on loving what you are doing -it is so beautiful♥️
Ahw thank you so much!! I try too!
Omg Rinske I’m loving this new technique era! I really like the flow of how the acrylic wash can go and think I could really get into making paintings again with this. It’s so freeing and going with the flow with this painting! 😍
Thank you so much!! Yes so free! ❤️
This is so Beautiful Rinske❤ I love Minimalist, and simplicity. Paintings like these are for a calming heart. So much fun and undeniably Beautiful and full of painting from your heart.
I have to agree with many of your other followers, I love that your art evolves. I have been following you and a few other artist since the beginning of the fluid Art takeoff, years ago. I have stopped watching a few of them because they haven’t evolved. Still the same very rigid Dutch pours. I can understand coming back occasionally to them just for fun, but not day after day. You and your art inspired many of us to step out of our comfort zones and remember to experiment and play, and enjoy our art. Thank you.
Oh my goodness Rinske …..what a wonderful painting ….. love my Saturday mornings …cup of coffe and Rinske video ….what could be better ! Enjoy your holiday with your Mum and family !❤💕
Cathyyyy!!❤️🩷🩷🩷
You’re such an encouragement for all artists, to not get locked into one style or one form. Find yourself. Express yourself. Each iteration is better than the last.
I love how you are evolving. There's nothing like seeing your different styles. Keep doing you 😍😍
Just absolutely love how you start with a blank canvas and then create something marvellous simply out of nothing. This is superb!!! Love watching you create each week
I LOVE the minimalist design and the soft, spacious feel of the colors. Beautiful!
Love seeing you grow and try new styles. So many artists just stick with what’s been successful and sells. These landscapes are really amazing and it’s great to see your techniques and your struggles so we can learn to keep pushing through the “stuck” moments.
So many stuck moments HAHA! But in the end that makes it so fun and challenging. Love it. Thank you so much!❤️
When it's your passion, it will work out ok ❤
Beautifully done Rinske Give Tigo a hug for me 🥰
I love love love this Rinske. You call yourself struggling. But I see perfection. I also love hearing you explain your own thoughts. I paint this same way and it’s my fave, I hate posting just I’m not a good talker like you. Thanks for being so honest and sweet ❤️🙏🏼
Hi Rinske. Although I like your new abstract paintings. I really prefer the botanicals. They are amazing to watch you create and the end results are so happy and refreshing to look at.
Your new style of painting is very calming and peaceful😊❤
I love how these are looking almost like watercolours..
Very skilled technique. Love the look.
Rinske, I love how you keep evolving as an artist. I started my artistic journey with paint pouring but it didn’t inspire me and my work wasn’t very good. As I evolved into abstract art, I discovered a passion I didn’t know I had. Thank you for showing me that change is good! I love your newest work.
I love that you found your passion. It makes the whole world better doesnt it! Thank you so much!
You paintings are very calming. I have been watching you for the past few years and am always inspired. Don't be afraid to try something new.😊 It's part of the evolution of an artist ❤
Hello Rinske what a gorgeous painting so peacefull and elegant everything you do turns so gorgeous you have a magical touch thank you for sharing 👏 👏 👏 😊
Rinske, you have such a talent for painting and teaching. You make everything look so easy and you are very relaxing to watch and listen to. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and I look forward to your landscape photos to reproduce onto canvas in your own inimitable style. 😎
It appears to me that you are working more with perspective, I really like how you're pushing things to the back, creating the foreground.
I really like this new approach to your painting than pour or botanics. It fits on any interior and is very calming. Lots of change throughout my painting years. Altho i am always going forward to glazes and water color and pen and ink. Beautiful paintings🎉
Hi Rinske, do what you feel you have to do...We are here for you as you have done so much for us all these years 😘❤
Love the new direction Rinske! As ever, your videos are super therapeutic to watch and it’s encouraging for me to see even a professional struggling sometimes, but pushing through. Definitely keep sharing. 👏❤️

Thank you so much!! Oh weddings❤️ will be such a special day, enjoy!!!
I love the new landscapes and can’t wait to try them. I tried the botanicals and they are “above my pay grade”. You are the one artist I always look up first when I need inspiration. My sister is an online influencer and the platforms are always changing the algorithms. Ask! Your devoted followers will respond. ❤️
Ahww thank you so much! Hope to inspire for a loooong time haha! Oh yes, it changes a lot. And its oke. But yes, happy I did ask! See sooo many commenting now, and it warms my heart really!
