If anything universal will replace the Simpsons considering that the contract rights are expiring soon and the people who now own the rights are obviously not going to give universal an extension. For now this is what I predict will go. Simpsons and Lost Continent are on the chopping block and will be replaced by Pokémon and Zelda respectively. Then Universal will tear down fear factor and possibly even Men in Black to make way for a small area/ride based on one of their popular franchises and I think it’ll most likely be a small area themed to the Twister franchise considering the recent success of the sequel. Then I feel like the next one that’ll be gone will be Fast and Furious Supercharged with it most likely being replaced by a nightbus ride that’ll either have it’s entrance next to kings cross or completely eliminate the San Francisco area by extending out London. Fast and furious could also be replaced by The Secret Life of Pets and have the entrance of that ride be located in the back of the New York area. That would however mean the large possibility of losing Loui’s pizzeria.
