Same! When I see other people be productive, it makes me want to be productive
I think it's something to do with herd behavior. Say if one person is studying, another person will want to study too because they are, and then another person wants to as well, then it continues.
It might not be the case, but that's what it reminds me of.

i found that to be a bad habit of mine before, but with these "study with me" videos, my focus has improved and I'm getting more work done. Videos like this will make me feel guilty if I don't study.

As a person that has ADHD and has trouble concentrating, I can say that this is the most I have ever been focused on one thing. I had to prepare for my chemistry test and I suck at it. But I got a 89%, which was great considering how I performed half of the time. Thanks (:

I could never, I kept getting up cause I got bored so I would just get one of my plants and look at at, Ive ended up bringing one of my plants over to my desk so I don’t have to get up -v- I’m lazy but I’m smart

I can't tell you how many times I've used this video to help me get homework done. At least twenty. I'm neurodivergent, and schoolwork has always been a pain for me. I can never focus, and I constantly get upset and frustrated with it. Ever since I've been using this video, I have spent an hour at most so far on homework, which is HUGE for me! I get so much work done, and I don't get nearly as distracted. I'm not sure what about this video does it for me, but THANK YOU for this! It's truly a blessing! I hope your school has been going well for everyone, and now I'm back to my homework!

We need more library study with me!! This is my favorite video, no matter how hard I try to watch other study with me videos, I always end up back here within 10 minutes 😆
Okay, I never used to use a study with me video because I felt like it wouldn't help me get anything done, so I would resort to just watching random UA-cam videos or listen to my own favorite music. But from time to time that would distract me, and my study sessions would last very long.
But now that I'm back in school at 25, and I'm a little behind on my notes, I decided to give a study with me video a shot. This was the first one I clicked, and I'VE BEEN WORKING NON-STOP FOR 45 MINUTES! No distractions, no mini singing sessions, just me focusing on my work and retaining information. I caught up on my Intro to Counseling notes, I'm pursuing my Associates in Science with a focus in Psychology, and I'm glad that this video is around, because I know I'm going to come back when I have to work on assignments for my other classes. Thank you so much for this!

this was just overall satisfying and helpful!! i am a sophomore in highschool having trouble concentrating on simple tasks like a 5 min bell work question. this helped me focus on my work and not procrastinate. it’s nice to hear all this background noice and music which makes me feel as if i am actually studying with someone. Definitely through these hard times as we are all stuck looking at a screen for more than 6 hours, you have made it 10x easier. thank you for this!!!
BEFORE I START STUDYING: I hope to finish a story I'm writing for English, as well as a study set on Quizlet for my Spanish quiz tomorrow.
update: I finished my story and my study set. I also studied the study set and finished some vocabulary, as well as doing research for my paper on sirens. I only used an hour of the video but it was so helpful!

I have a really bad issue of not being able to sit in one place for very long without getting distracted. This helped me out so much! I only had to pause once over an hour in to eat. I can't tell you how much this helped me focus and become more motivated. Seeing myself being able to do all the homework that used to take me more than 10 hours a day to now only 2 hours a day is amazing to me and makes me think that I can go to Yale like you!! I am aware this was months ago, however this video was still quite helpful. I have trouble staying focus for an entire study session and don’t get a lot done in a large period of time. This may have been the most productive session of my life. Having someone study for the same amount of time with me was really motivating. I felt like I needed to work for once! Thank you!
