I sure hope you have found a proper hammer. My mom had a hammer that the handle was broken off. Any time you asked her for a hammer that’s what you got. I had to use it numerous time while I ways young. I felt your pain and frustration with every wack of the hammer you had. 😂

Had ewes that kicked in the barn door overnight and gorged on pure alfalfa hay bales. Ate a week of hat in one night. The next three days was watching for bloat and giving baking soda with their minerals. Fortunately no losses. I sure admire your fortitude having at the long nail with the tiny hammer!

Just a fairly basic lamb fattening nut called intensive lamb. Just to give them a bit of energy and extra condition before they go to work.
