I did 27 months in USP Beaumont. That's a maximum security federal penitentiary in Beaumont, Texas. I got locked up for possession of an unregistered machine gun. Basically I had a fully automatic AK-47 and someone who I thought was a friend of mine told the cops about it to get out of a simple "possession of a controlled substance" charge. I had done county jail time here and there, but it was my first (and only) time going to the penitentiary. They call Beaumont "Bloody Beaumont" because of all of the violence. There was rarely a day where I could make it to the chow hall for breakfast, lunch or dinner without at some point the alarm would go off signaling that someone was getting either jumped or stabbed. Being that I was new to the prison I had to go on a "mission" by "putting in work" by jumping a child molester as soon as I got there to earn my stripes. I don't have any sympathy for child molester, but spending a months in solitary confinement was not very fun... That's just a small part of my story, it was crazy.
SaK Religous yeah I wasn't in a gang but ran in the Cali car. So once you hit a new yard they call it being on deck. The first time a snitch or a child molester hits the yard if you're on deck it's your turn to go. But it doesn't take much convincing for me to jump on someone who rapes kids. So I'd have done it anyway, but had I refused, I'd be getting fucked up too for that.

Prison can either Break you or Make you 10,Times stronger then you ever thought you where .. You learn how to be.very appreciative of everything in life and become very respectful all the time and meet your real friends in there .. And Build a Bond with them that is unbreakable and one of the worse parts about it . is when it’s your time to go home and all your friends walk you to the door and you see the look in there face Hiw lost they are gonna be that ur going home!! There are so many really good men who are doing 20 ,30 years ,, life and they are happy that I was going home but I felt horrible leaving them there .. A lot of people don’t realize is when u do 5 or 10 years with the same guys .. You build a Brotherhood with them. Reason being is you are with eachother non stop and when one of us had a family problem at home you feel it also ..My Friends I got close with when I was away I would do anything for them in a Split Second.. A lot of guys come home from prison and forget about there friends in there .. And that is wrong !!! When I came home I was lost for a while .. I lost my Mom my best friend my god mother and never got to say good bye to any of them .. But it made me stronger and I Thank God I had some good friends to help me get through it.. I don’t know how to leave my friends behind . So all the fellows that just came home once in a while send the fellows a letter or card send them a few dollars just to let them know you are still thinking about them and that you truly appreciated them for always having your back
I see a lot if back handed compliments in comments...y'all very surprised this man is using words correctly. He is a rapper, if you listen to east coast rappers they have a good grasp of the language, it's necessary
5:46 He's right, about the 87.5% (rather than 85%), because they credit your good time AFTER every year you do. That's on a 10 year sentence. With each decade, because of the compounded interest, you do an extra 1%; that is why he said "at least 87.5%," and not because you can lose good time for fighting, contraband, etc. Convicts, when signing their please, understandably believe they're going to do 8.5 years out of 10, for example. In reality. As this guy mentions, you do 87.5% because you'll gain 53 (I think) days of "gained good time" after each year you do, not as the year goes by. Thus, 87.5% on a decade and about 1% more for each decade after (someone with a 360-month sentence will do 89.5%, at least, of he doesn't lose any good time). On top of that, most federal inmates have a 3- or 5-year term of supervised release, aka probation.
You know nothing about the FEDERAL system, in Feds, PD's are well paid, ( equal to US Attorneys ) by law, very well versed on US statutes. Anyone can tell You,a private Attorney in Feds is a waste of resources.

The number one rule if you get arrested by the Feds is to never spend tens of thousands for a Lawyer because the Feds are point based so there’s nothing they can do for you to reduce the time.
Darnell Cox the reason their conviction rate is so high is because of The Plea Deals. But the catch is if you try to take it to trial and lose your sentence will be doubled or maybe tripled. Nobody wants to take that risk of losing. My first Celly Plea Deal was 7yrs but he took it to trial lost and ended up getting 17. When I came in he had been down for 8 already so imagine how he felt

Fuck You Very Much. Yep. My father was in a federal prison camp in Boron, CA in the mid 90's. No bars, no gates. If they wanted to, they could walk the hell off but..mostly they did their time and got on.

I did 6 years 9 months in fed's I went in on the day of July 4, 2006 came out in the Spring of 2013 and it was as if woke up from a coma and entered the future, everyone had touch screen phones and shit lol, that shit wasn't no game I used to cry almost every night not cuz I was scared of it but cuz I wasn't in control of me or my freedom I mean you get used to the routine quickly but it ain't nowhere special for a nigga to be glamorizing it foreal I done seen traumatic shit
Mach da savage thank God for bringing u out
That’s crazy bruh glad you got outta there
Yea bro saw my cousin after 12 years man. He was like robo cop. Had to let him know cause he was use to things being in order: Also he trust me that much off the love he told me to let him know when he in the wrong that’s how humble and careful he was. It changes you man he was constantly reminding me of this so I don’t get myself in drama.
Good interview. You asked the right questions, the gentleman responses seem open and honest enough. I believe he could have gone in depth a little more about his psyche in federal prison to help the youth however he did a good job talking about the ordeal! Thank you.
this dude seems pretty intelligent in the way he articulates himself. its sad black men have to go thru prison as a right of passage, while other communities send their young to college
ib iro what....
Delgado smooth ok but you can’t say the whole race of black people just because he made a wrong choice
You gotta be pretty resourceful to try and rob and armored car or bank, not all cons are dumb.
Kaptain Kush Yes smart move getting caught. Master criminal this dude.
ib iro I'm from a pretty rough hood and plenty of the young men in it go to college....ijs
25:35 and 28:50 is some of the realest shit I've heard. Especially for me, being someone who has done time. The best do's and don't video so far. Shout out the DMV area

Everything this brother is saying is true peace and blessings to u bruh
You can tell he matured a lot bro gotta head on his shoulder respect bro
That dude who stepped in on the court most definitely saved his life.
He didnt realize that he was beefing with a dude who 4 life sentences DAMN!
He had nothing to lose...
You got it wrong the dude who asked to guard him is the one with 4 lives.
Best Interview I seen in years. The questions was deep and elaborate.

So all the fellows that just came home once in a while send the fellows a letter or card send them a few dollars just to let them know you are still thinking about them and that you truly appreciated them for always having your back
#FACTS 💯

GREAT INTERVIEW. ACE IN THE BATTLE RAP LANE RIGHT NOW. THIS GUY IS A HIGHLY INTELLIGENT MAN.
Sometimes you can’t control life besides go with the motion
This guy is educated...#respect
Statistic Muzik Being educated isn’t a compliment in normal sense of the word!!
Fighting Words Boxing Network who asked you my dude...I was giving props to a young black man that’s not on here acting ignorant..
Statistic Muzik did you understand what I wrote?? Read it again and think about it. There was no reason to get offended “my dude.”
I see a lot if back handed compliments in comments...y'all very surprised this man is using words correctly. He is a rapper, if you listen to east coast rappers they have a good grasp of the language, it's necessary

If he takes that oath, the industry will make him shave it. He would have to give up his masculinity. They like feminine or gay black men.
Jay Smith
You watch too many conspiracy theories... its really not that deep.

He's right, about the 87.5% (rather than 85%), because they credit your good time AFTER every year you do.
On top of that, most federal inmates have a 3- or 5-year term of supervised release, aka probation.
mrfrankcastle083 i got a D in math. Too many numbers for me g. Lmao. But his breakdown too

He’s off on public defenders... Well paid attorneys are friends with the judge my bro... they negotiate behind the courtroom!!!
You know nothing about the FEDERAL system, in Feds, PD's are well paid, ( equal to US Attorneys ) by law, very well versed on US statutes. Anyone can tell You,a private Attorney in Feds is a waste of resources.
PrettySimpleMusic It’s federal bro not state
Hi !! Check out our interview with Ace Amin.
ua-cam.com/video/naycmrkHFDs/v-deo.html
Nelson Sulli exactly bro these public defenders don’t care about u
Not on the feds. Which he did distinguish. Also in alot of states with structured sentencing paying the judge off will get very little.
This was a great interview
“Don’t turn a short one into a long one”

Proof that a public defender is an automatic trip to prison
GWOP GETTAS or that being guilty sends you to prison.
GWOP GETTAS a Fed Public Defender is different from a State Public Defender. Federal Public Defenders are actually Private Lawyers. The number one rule if you get arrested by the Feds is to never spend tens of thousands for a Lawyer because the Feds are point based so there’s nothing they can do for you to reduce the time.
GWOP GETTAS damn you didn't listen to shut he said did you?
The Feds have a 99% conviction rate. So if they come get you. You’re better off taking the plea because they can prove you did the shit.
Just realized this ace amin
Everyone go check his battles. He’s about to be the next star in the Battle Rap culture🔥
If you’re new to battle rap or you haven’t watched it in years go catch up now‼️
This life, the next life, this connects it.
Understand the federal prison has a point system so depending on your charge you’ll be at a low facility, medium facility or maximum facility. So with him he probably was a maximum facility because of his charge that’s why it’s more violent or fighting etc
Shayla Shayla Shayla Shayla. Thanks for that info
Naw bro ur charge ain’t all it go by your history too I did time in a medium not for my crime but for my points those points also can add on ur time he telling all facts I can’t tell u anything u want to know I was in Coleman med 10800-021 prison number
He's a first time offender with a 924(c) with less than 25 years so he went to a low because he took a plea. He went to a LOW custody prison. I just did 17 fed and had 20 yrs and went to a LOW first but went to a Medium after fucking up at the LOW
Fuck You Very Much. Yep. My father was in a federal prison camp in Boron, CA in the mid 90's. No bars, no gates. If they wanted to, they could walk the hell off but..mostly they did their time and got on.
Fuck You Very Much. He got in trouble and ran his points up. They go by a lot of things. You age, how many convictions you have, etc. Some dudes are in a higher security just for parole violations bc they have a long criminal history
