I’m wanting to do SFAB I’m just not sure how to really go about it to my Leadership I’ve tried doing the volunteer questionnaire leadership won’t fill there parts out. 5th SFAB is here where I’m stationed at just wanna see how I can or should do thanks for the video!
you should definitely do it & I would visit with 5th SFAB & go ask how can you go about joining if your leadership is not willing to complete their portion of the questionnaire, good luck!
Do you need approval from your unit in order to sign up for SFAB? For instance do I have to get approval from my commander or signature from him or does my NCOIC have to approve me going to SFAB
Yes, your Commander has to sign off on your documents for you to go. I would have a conversation about your interest in it that way the commander can be ok with you going. It’s voluntary, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t get signed. Good luck!
Do it for the right reasonm, not just to promote. Never do something to promote. Just my two cents. You need passion in the Military, not rank chasing...I'm sure you know that though
