    Rhonda not only couldn’t handle a loss, and ran away when she realized she wasn’t the best anymore.. but her attitude was what made her look the worse. Several times she wasn’t humble in victory and never in defeat.. which is where she lost her fans.

      Big time. Don't expect support from people when all you do is step on people. Her self-image was 180 degrees different than what everybody else saw. She wanted to be this beautiful self-confident badass, the image that she put forth was an arrogant diva with her nose in the air and a serious ego-vulnerability. She was capable of looking good when some Hollywood clothing designer and makeup artist did her up but she was no Miesha Tate or Gina Carano. She was popular among the casuals but the real fans knew that she was a piece of garbage that wouldn't last.

    I finally agree with Chael, he is spot on with his take about LOUSEY. Her career was fake, the UFC and the media made her out to be something she wasn't... Her one trick pony worked in a tomato can division, as real fighters were signed to the UFC her days were numbered.

Calling her a "jobber" when she's clearly more respected & liked in her industry than Ronda is makes him sound like a dick, he'd be the first person to call someone out if they referred to an MMA guy as a jobber by someone from outside of the sport.
      If it hadn't been for Becky, Charlotte, Sasha & Bayley then Ronda probably wouldn't have a job in wrestling at this point, the 4 of them changed how womens wrestling is looked at & made it what it is today where people like Ronda & Shayna want to be involved, calling her a jobber is disrespectful to the work she's put in to not only get where she is today, but womens wrestling too.

    Ronda beat the top fighters during her time -- many whom were more experienced -- and was one of the most active fighters in SF and the UFC. Her 12 fight win streak - the way she obliterated the competition was good damn impressive. If a 2017 skill level Amanda Nunes had fought the same women then instead of Ronda, do you think she would have beat all of them that easily? I highly doubt it. I stopped being a Ronda fan when she refused to shake Meisha's hand at 168 but I can't deny what she's accomplished for herself and MMA. We will probably never see such a thing again.

      @brandonthompson1995 5 років тому +5

      So Becky, the one that got cut open and didn't stop and has been bringing reality into the story can't be the man because she bled after one punch?
      Chael gets wrestling, it's obvious he isn't watching this angle, he says as much. Becky is bringing up Rondas past to make Ronda the good guy in all this, once again, because she's the man, and she gets it. The thing is Becky being so real is making her the fan favorite. And Chael is right, Becky is taking full advantage of her time in the moment.
      And btw, Charlotte and Becky are gonna keep whooping that ass and beating that drum till WrestleMania, and all of us wrestling fans could probably tell you who will win and lose in each match and it not affect how much we enjoy it, and Ronda is gonna get an L hung on her at the Rumble by Becky, if you ask me.

    • @brandonthompson1995
      @brandonthompson1995 5 років тому +2

      @Ricardo Martinez yes but there are two shows with separate talent and the chicks working against Ronda are on the other show so I'm gonna give him credit and assume he only saw Becky when she showed up on Raw... And has essentially not seen Becky, maybe isn't aware of the brand split and thus believes her to be a jobber
      And basically her and Charlotte and the other chicks beat up the entire Raw women's division and Rondas ass like braveheart.

    • @brandonthompson1995
      @brandonthompson1995 5 років тому

      At this point however Charlotte Flair, who is WWE's star (Ronda is to UFC as Charlotte is to WWE in terms of favoritism) did indeed beat the dog shit out of Ronda on Sunday, within an inch of her life. And that was pretty stiff (real) even if choreographed.
      But Charlotte is honestly the most complete performer so not only is Becky the man but let's be real Charlotte carried Ronda and despite her favoritism Charlotte is, to reiterate, the best performer, and it's not close. She delivers to the 9s.
      Tl;Dr: Let's be real, Charlotte > Becky > Ronda

    Ive literally said Rhonda was a competitor not a fighter, her competitor spirt wasnt satisfied when her olympic career ended. She was ahead of the game at first and then the competition caught up. Had she never been convinced her hands had become on the same level as her judo she’d still be on top. If you go back and watch her fights, she never liked getting punched in the face, her reaction was that of some one who looked like she didnt take punches in training i.e. live sparring, she never learned how to get used to taking a punch. Every fight when she got hit you can see it clearly on her face she wasnt used to it. When she fought Holly she got tagged and instead of focusing on her strengths, she was told in training she was a puncher and had good power, so when she was tagged she tried to hit Holly clean and gain respect and she kinda started head hunting but never gained the respect because her hands were not up to par to Hollys. When Rhonda went for the clinch finally it was to late she had already been hurt so her technique wasnt clean in the clinch it was sloppy and panicky ergo Holly pushed her off easily. In the Amanda fight it was the same thing when Amanda tagged her Rhonda tried to punch back and gain respect instead of going to her bread and butter i.e. Clinch/Judo, and she ends up taking a beating and getting man handled. This is in no way a diss to Rhondas skills she is as legit as they come but both of her loses were to true fighters whom are used to taking a punch and have an extensive background in fighting, where as Rhonda was a competitor with mad heart and great skills technically but not a fighter who is used to having punches thrown at them and being hit with said punches.

    So there are a few details that people ALWAYS tend to forget or leave out when they talk about Ronda. It has nothing to do with if she was good or not - but before Ronda Nobody gave a DAMN about female fighting. Infact i have seen several sports tv hosts saying that women shouldn't be fighting or boxing because they are bad role-models for what a woman is suppose to be. There is a VERY famous interview with Dana White where he i asked "when will we females in the UFC" and he responed "NEVER" So when Ronda came and took the world by storm - and you can say what you want about her fighting style and ablilites and her attitude she TOOK the world by storm and became a household name. When she came people starting watching female fights not only that but Ronda made the UFC a TON of money and suddenly female fighting was cool to watch. If anything Ronda helped women like Misha, Holly, Amanda, Kat and all the others because before Ronda Rousey - and you can ague if this is fair or not but it's a fact - Before Ronda NOBODY watched female fighting…...this is something that people ALWAYS tend to forget to mention when they talk about Ronda Rousey -------

    There are 2 points I have to argue. First of all, Becky Lynch is NOT in any way a Jobber, she is the most over WWE star right now, man or Woman, in fact that's why she is now calling herself "The Man". Secondly, saying Ronda didn't duck Cyborg by insisting she fought at 135 is questionable at the least. There is no way Cyborg could ever make 135 and Ronda knew it. That's like calling out Conor at 135 or Cormier at 185 then saying they're ducking you. Cyborg damn near killed herself making 139 against Leslie Smith, then probably missed weight for the 140 fight against Lansberg (I say probably because photos showed she weight over 141 but the Brazillian commission allowed it anyway) and was so ill she had to get a retroactive TUE for prescribed drugs and her blood was so thick they couldn't do a blood test. I'd argue that by Ronda insisting Cyborg fight at 135 she was effectively ducking her.
    Going back to Ronda-Becky Lynch, I agree that when a worker shoots on you, you have to shoot back. That's why it's so awkward and weird that Ronnie (as Becky is now calling her) keeps calling Becky "The Millennial Man". It makes no sense because they are the same age, and it's a replying to a shoot with a work, so Becky looks like a Bad ass and Ronnie loses the Social media fight.

    • @Robman275
      @Robman275 5 років тому

      @@nabzm.u1540 That's inaccurate. If you bother to look up WWE's viewer demographics, you'll see the age of viewers is actually getting older. The 18-34 market is growing and in 2016 the median viewing age was 54. As for the punch in question it was a stiff, closed fist punch, that was totally unexpected, from a woman twice her weight with no way of defending it. That's not an exaggeration, Lynch is billed at 135 pounds and Nia Jax is billed at 272. Granted WWE weights can be BS but the point still stands. In a legit fight Becky most likely would have been fine, but in the space it was it was reckless. None of this changes points I raised anyway.

    She gets a lot of criticism on this ufc topic and I don't think it's fair. It's very easy to compare rousey's techniques to female mma fighters we see today and make that the sole basis on why she was never good and people just bucked up her head up way too much. When she started in Ufc people weren't familiar with watching 2 woman in a cage fight. We watched men do this but never women. And at the time rousey was champion she was the best. And it's a simple grading scale in my opinion. They put 2 women in a cage and whoever wins is the winner, the best, the better fighter, whatever u Wana call it. And during that time every opponent that went against her in that cage lost and we watched this over and over and over again. And everyone spread that narrative that she was the best female athlete/fighter ever. Chael did it, rogan, Dana, celebs, late night TV hosts, major media conglomerates, athletes, fighters, fans...everyone did this because it was something new and she was winning every match and while doing that u had other females climbing the ladder and learning new and better techniques, getting skilled in striking and grappling and the time came where she met an opponent who just had better skills than she and was just a better fighter in that fight. But we can't take away what she did at the time. U wouldn't take a computer that steve jobs made from 1993 and compare to a computer in 2021 and call Steve Jobs a loser and call him a fraud who never really had technology skills and wasn't really a genius. Nobody would do this because for 1993 that Apple computer was the shit for its time and the same goes for rhonda rousey
