There really need to be a Feature Doc on the life of Isaac Hayes! The Black Moses thing and the Chains were exploits in a crass MGM Studio environment that actually wanted the character of "Shaft" to be white! Thanks to Gordon Parks bringing to the screen a great Film and to Stax Records for giving all of the world over a completely origional and one of a kind musician first and recording artist second. His late testimonials account for his mellowness and look-back at a incredible career!
