i used to play lovenikki but got turned off by the gatcha elements and microtransactions. i'm very interested in this bc on the surface it looks like it had neither of those? also i love how the classic outfits are here and have powers!
It is a gacha game. You have to gacha in order to get the dresses. But I guess we’ll be able to grind for it this time? Since it’s open world just like Genshin and WuWa.
I don’t mind gacha and played for awhile but yeah, the micro transactions turned me off too. Reason being is that f2p players don’t get any chance at all to get cool exclusive things. Not even by way of grinding, which is a method for the game I regularly play that has gacha. Felt like a game for whales and whales only; I just can’t afford that kind of thing

Oh my stars! I've rarely played anything but mobile games & have often looked at beautifully designed games & wondered if I could just wonder around in those worlds looking cute & enjoying the atmosphere without fighting. This almost like it was made for me! IT EVEN HAS MY NAME. That's exactly how I spell it. I don't want to get my hopes up, but this looks incredible.
Edit: Will there be different skintones & hair textures? I really hope so. I don't want to play if I can't feel like myself.
This was based off the mobile game Love Nikki. It was a VERY expensive game though, and people dropped thousands of dollars into it. This is a closed beta, but I remember Love Nikki not being the **most** inclusive when it came to skin colour, but I think it's because originally it was an Asian game and they had their specific aesthetic. I assume they will give more inclusivity later on in the game's development though!

This is so pretty! I noticed that the outfits would disappear when you're not using their special effect. Can you just keep the outfit on the whole time instead of going back to the pink one? The blue outfit was super pretty.
