I always forget the name of the actor who plays Al, and I don’t mean Dean Stockwell. Love it when Sammy Jo tells Sam she wants to tell her daddy that she loves him. (Such clever writing like this is what made this tv series/ show so so great! If Scott Backula is threatening to come back to Star Trek Enterprise, there’s hope he might resume the show that made him in the first place Quantum Leap!!
I wish there weren't so many missing episodes on Netflix. This was one of the best shows ever. They should either make a movie, or bring it back into continuation.
I could have sworn I seen that Dean Stockwell had died along time ago. Now I see he is still alive! They SO have to make more Quatum Leap's!!!!! Would LOVE to see Sam's daughter in the new one's!
This wasn't much of a trailer to be honest. I'd expected this to use fan editing to give us a glimpse of the new story line they'd had in mind. The choice for the adult Sammy Jo had interested me. The evil leapers scene made no sense here, it didn't connect to anything and while it was an interesting story arc there were a lot of elements missing and an inconclusive ending. Was that the idea here? To bring Alia back in your story line? There actually was a plan for a sixth season. From what I was told, actually right there at Al's Place (if you want to find me there, I'm Sam Beckett Fan, member for almost ten years now) it was supposed to feature Al leaping out to find Sam whose aura hadn't returned to the waiting room after 'Mirror Image' with Sammy Jo as his hologram. After the opening episode both characters, with Sam having been found, would then become leapers. This to be honest doesn't sound appealing to me to the point where bringing Alia back sounds better so perhaps the cancelation was a blessing in disguise. The problem I once would have had with it is how I am not such a huge fan of Abigail and that rubbed off on Sammy Jo. Though now I can tolerate the trilogy more and am trying to be more fair towards her. If written right, she can be an interesting character. Personally I DO NOT recommend the novel 'Loch Ness Leap' for a well written Sammy Jo. There'd also been plans begun for a film, the details were unknown, it had even briefly appeared in Scott Bakula's IMDB list but for a reason unknown to myself and perhaps all fans it was dropped. To the user who claims Sam created a paradox in restoring Al's first marriage, I disagree. It is my belief that it was destiny for Sam and Al to end up on this journey and thus that being married to Beth wouldn't lead to a significant enough change to alter Al's joining the project. Though you said a paradox that would undo all of Sam's leaps? I don't understand that. Can you elaborate. Though if anyone is interested the novel 'Angels Unaware' does a wonderful job of exploring the concept of Sam thoughtlessly wanting to take an action to get himself home which while it could be successful would also undo all of the lives he's improved and saved by leaping. The novel series for the most part is very well done and gives us enough additional leaps to almost be equivalent to a sixth season, all very unique and engaging. I recommend them to all Quantum Leap fans.
thanks SO much for uploading this. I've loved this show for yrs but never got to see how it all ended. Ive been watching it on G4 but the last 30min of the final episode didn't record.
I was so sad when Quantum Leap went off the air. This is my all-time favorite show, and yes - I want to know what has happened with Sam after all these years. They should do a movie or something. There were rumblings a few years back that they were thinking of bringing it back, but with a much different cast, and that Sam would only make cameo appearances from time to time.
@@Trinity_Light Dean passed away some years ago. So did Gushi. Wouldn't be the same now without them. Man it was 11 years ago that I posted this. Awesome! 😊👍👍
I agree, The episodes involving PEQL. (Project Evil Quantum Leap, for those who don't know the lingo,) was seeminly very inconclusive. The other problem is, at the end of season Five, Sam created a paradox, which surely prevented him from doing everything that He did. Which is why there was supposed to be a sixth season before that episode.
I would love the Idea. 😍 Quantum Leap - the Story continues. I hate the original ending because I see nowadays which heart sam had to do all these good things. I know, sam was created by Don Belissario but scott was perfect for this role
I have heard about a sequel spinoff of QL called "A Bold Leap Forward" centreing on Sammy Jo and her trying to find Sam. I think it was supposed to be a movie at first, then to be turned into a series if it was successful with ratings. So, this is more than just a compilation.
LOVE this show!!!! Best ting eva to hit the small screen! Now I is hooked on Supernatural! But I did watch this on Sci Fi channel rite from the start again! :) Happy days!
Funny, I just finished seeing the whole series and I mentioned to my sister that they should make a comeback, but this time Sammy Jo would be the leaper and it should have her searching for Sam and bringing him home, it would be so awesome if they would do it. This was one off the best series of all time, I think it deserves a better ending. Imagine a 21st century Quantum Leap :D I bet it would have very good ratings.
I've been buying the seasons after I saw an episode on tv, and I'm hooked. Reading these comments and learning there is no real ending is just sad.....
The Evil Leaper Program was created after Sam leaped into the mental patient who was about to get electro-shocked when Sam leaped into his body getting the electroshock-ed himself and thereof inadvertently revealing basically everything about Project Quantum Leap. Hence the Government under the control of the Military began covert counterpart for Quantum Leap with their own agents. I would love to see Quantum Leap return as Reunion TV movies to complete Sam's return home hopefully with the help of his daughter Sammy Jo and defeat Zoe and the Rogue Quantum Leap agents.
"It's always darkest before the dawn." Smallville: The Final Season. Clark Kent's final year before becoming Superman facing his most difficult and most evil challenger, Darkseid!
This show needs an movie to end it. "Final Leap" is my version, in which Sam leaps into himself 1 week before his first leap. His job, correct the problem that makes him unable to make it home!!
okay i have a question I'm watching trilogy PT 3 and my question is this: In the past sam and abagail fuller were husband and wife and had a daughter sammy jo fuller. then there was Donna elisee. Did Sam divorse donna or something then get together with abigal fuller?
Ok - enough of this speculation and foolishness. Geniuses here and everywhere - watch NoWhere man 22 episodes from beginning to end. It was broadcast on UPN in 1995. Starring Bruce Greenwood. There is an episode with Dean Stockwell - don't seek it out. Watch all 22 episodes from beginning to end and you will realize what the repercussions and consequences of time travel are. I worked on the real government project and it will never be opened again. Just as cold fusion will never be understood
After watching all of the shows while I was in the Army. When I watched the last show end, and cried for 3 frigging days like a little girl. I made a promise to God that I would Never watch anything that Belisorryass made or produced ever again, and if I ever met the man personally that I wouldn't hesitate to tell him how much of an Ass Hole he was for the 5 year hook. What is Ironic is that he produced the original Battlestar Galactica also, which was another unended train wreck.
Yes it would have been. I would like to see a movie also about Oddball and his crew on the Tiger Tank after Kelly's Hero's ended and they had to continue in the war with a hull full of hidden gold. I have thought about writing a book about it.

I could have sworn I seen that Dean Stockwell had died along time ago. Now I see he is still alive! They SO have to make more Quatum Leap's!!!!! Would LOVE to see Sam's daughter in the new one's!
Bring back Quantum Leap.

The fans need closure of this show. Sam is still out there leaping. He needs to come home to his daughter Sammy Jo and his brother Tom.
I really enjoyed this Tv serie decades ago..
The proposed revival would have taken a direction not suggested in this preview: Sami Jo is the new leaper.

Well it may be a Rumour but their is talk that it's coming back for a New Pilot, and hopefully a new series, so you never know? 😊🙏

How many think Amy Acker would make a great Sammy Jo Fuller for a new series or direct-to-video film? Just a thought...
Moviefan2k4 Yes, it would.
+Moviefan2k4 You know if Veronica Mars can get a fan funded movie, maybe Quantum Leap could get one.

What they need to do is make another quantum leap show where Sammy Jo gets her daddy home
I would love the Idea. 😍
Quantum Leap - the Story continues. I hate the original ending because I see nowadays which heart sam had to do all these good things. I know, sam was created by Don Belissario but scott was perfect for this role
The dream came true and quantum leap is back on air. Different but with hope to bring finally Sam back home after 30 years.

I just heard from a friend of mine that Sam Beckett did leap home into his own time period. He had watched it like a few days ago.
Song : Enya - Storms in Africa

Simply that Sam Beckett is still leaping. putting right what once went wrong
The Evil Leaper Program was created after Sam leaped into the mental patient who was about to get electro-shocked when Sam leaped into his body getting the electroshock-ed himself and thereof inadvertently revealing basically everything about Project Quantum Leap. Sam and Al.....oh very good, i whis returns.....quantum leap....returns!!!!
What is the name of this song or theme song that is playing in the background of this clip?
very good.
"It's always darkest before the dawn." Smallville: The Final Season. Clark Kent's final year before becoming Superman facing his most difficult and most evil challenger, Darkseid!

Oh Boy!
I love the video i think they should make a movie out of queatem leap i would go see it
Al's place in Quantum Leap would have the full episode of this??
When I hear about Sam's daughter having a theory to bring him home- I always think it obviousy does not work knowing how the show actually ended.
I hate the female leaper supposedly died and Sam never made it home.
+big mo She didn't supposedly die did she? As she appeared later on, what I understood is that she actually made it back home...
+Christelle Verove really? I think you are right. I vaguely remember her coming back.
No she didn't. Sam freed her from Zoey. But we never knew where she went.
THATS RIGHTTTTTT MY BAD
I never totally got how he sired Sammy Jo who being in Will's body.
He was in his own body, just surrounded by Will's aura see episode "Nowhere to Run"
Hello again this is your president, John Henry Eden....

Don't blame bellisarrio. It was the stupid fucking network. Bellisarrio wanted a season 6, the network denied.
That would have been awesome, but one of them still made Me cry like a little girl.
TwistedSister/Haratiofales season 6 woulda been Awesome to watch i wish the network would have allowed for that
Yes it would have been. I would like to see a movie also about Oddball and his crew on the Tiger Tank after Kelly's Hero's ended and they had to continue in the war with a hull full of hidden gold. I have thought about writing a book about it.
