He was big chillin on that desk. What a real one!
Love these lectures.
I am upset that this field of science is not more popular, this is about the fundamental methods and procedures we all must have in our brains in order to create a mental map and thus an ability to pattern match existing problems to solve and to create heuristic approaches to solve new as yet unseen problems, this is as fundamental as quantum physics
foxabilo it's unpopular because it's very hard. AI is one the only fields in which all aspects of science converge along with ethics, philosophy etc. The only other field I can think of is medicine.

It certainly is now
heh and I'm now the community champion for the OpenAI developer forum... I knew this stuff was going to be big!
Thanks for posting!
More relevant than ever
I Really Like The Video The self From Your
this lecture hall is empty wow
I also have a response to the question from lecture 11 on "why do we like music"
Recently a theory of "Channels" in the brain has been discussed, it postulates that the human brain has a number of frequency dependant "channels" which are excited by resonant events as input, I propose in addition to this the brain has a larger scale differential time analyser based on groups of narrow band channel discriminators allowing large time periods to be measured including sub harmonics match with pitch
in what simon book is the bread bricks from?
i didnt get the part on allan dershowitz what was that abt?
I have a question !!!!....
- back up person's memory
- put the person in a position where he/she can make more than 1 right choice and then after he makes the choice pick him up and restore him memory
- and repeat a 1000 times .. with his choice change ???
I don't think so. Their decision is a result of everything that has happened to them up to that point.
Anybody found out the book titles Misnky mentioned on AI and Economics by Herbert A. Simon?
I believe they are the followings:
- The Sciences of the Artificial - 3rd Edition
- Models of Discovery: And Other Topics in the Methods of Science
There is also this book which might be one of the two books:
- Administrative Behavior
Hisfirst thing about rock climbing - totally reminds me of parkour.
thank you for share !!!
was this a hangover class or do ppl just not attend?! i fell bad for him
The prof is trying to help these grad students come up with new cutting edge concepts and theories for developing AI, or at least better understanding human intelligence. He is a guide to explain what has worked in the past and what has not, and perhaps why. But I imagine all his original ideas are all tried and, and now he is probably relying on these very smart, young minds to come up with new ideas that can push back the boundary of knowledge. Sort of like new, fresh fuel for an engine that has been coasting for a while.
Aw I just noticed it was so empty too and my heart sank. Some guy eating his lunch... I think it might be that this is a course that not a lot of people make it to this level hence it’s a small class. I wish I was in any way good at maths or any science 😂 I love minsky lectures. Thanks to MIT for making these available they are so interesting

That student looks older than Marvin
preliminary research on four year integration when comprising with a distinctive Canadian micro development that coincides with media production in terms of advancements in proprietary technology. Needless to say a discourse for my benefit which (if all goes well) is the beginning of an endeavour that could land me with a job title of Commissioner in intellectual property and has a Cinema Engineer
Without the memories, you can't use an reattach arm or a leg to function correctly

never have I ever seen such a group of people so detached from the reality of humanity. There concept of rural America is absurd.
