Railfanning NJ Transit at Millburn 6-17-24: broken GP40PH-2 4205 causes chaos and 4109 CNJ appears!!

Well this railfanning session didn't go as expected. I was excited to see 4205 in the station but when it didn't start leaving, I knew something was up. I confirmed with one of the conductors that the locomotive was indeed broken and wasn't able to move. This caused Millburn to be single tracked on Track 1 and the delays very quickly piled up. I did see some cool stuff though, namely 4109, the CNJ heritage livery locomotive which was awesome! After I had already gotten in the car with my parents, I spotted MTA 4906 that I had seen earlier in the day and was featured in the previous video from the morning and early afternoon on this same day.

Yup this was the begining of that week of chaos last week all the lines of NJ Transit Trains were all delays in and out from NYC due to Amtrak wire issue it lasted like close to 5 days it was horrible..

It definitely wasn't a good start to the week. For one of the most reliable locomotives to have a problem while working definitely was an omen of bad things to come.

@@Davids_Hobbies I know because I'm from New Jersey myself and to deal with this nonsense all the time it ridiculous so we shall see tomorrow Monday the beginning of the work week how things going to look like this coming work week.

It sure does! That turbo spool and engine revs up + down were pretty awesome.
