You are missing an extremely important fact here, that MOST "i"idiots always miss as well. The ONLY reason the iphone even seems remotely fast is because every app is optimized specifically for this phone. It is so limited by what can be run on it, and its users are limited by that ecosystem. While the S10+ has apps on it from all over the world. And can run apps from almost anywhere. There are tens of millions of developers all over the planet developing apps for the Play Store. And this phone can run all of them. Many, if not most of these apps are NOT optimized for the S10+'s launcher. Yet, it's much faster than the 8+, 9+ and yes, even the Xs Max, as we've seen in almost every speed test on UA-cam. That's impressive. But the "i"idiots giggle to themselves bc their phone still does just okay... Especially after CRapple got caught slowing down their phones to FORCE them to buy new ones. Unbelievable!
Having owned and owning both Apple and Android devices, I can say that this statement is false. They both barely slowed down even with months and years of use.
MindMiner123HD - Minecraft & More I’m talking about the long run. My old phone is an iPhone 6s and it still runs perfectly. The only reason I got an 8 plus is because I wanted a bigger screen. I know people that have the Samsung galaxy s7 and that phone has really slowed down. And the galaxy s7 came out a year later. Since iOS is simpler and a closed source software, it can and will run smoother on apple products longer than androids software.
@@davnik964 Those people probably abused their phones or something. I had a galaxy S7 until February of this year. For 1.5 years. Never slowed down, was as fast the day I sold it as it was the day I bought it. Possibly those people had ths Snapdragon variant (I had both) and the snapdragon variant was pretty trash and much slower than the exynos. Still never had any problems or lag.
Facts from the past. Try a new Android. My 2yo Mate10Pro still runs fast as ever. Don't try to maintain false myths and legends for highlighting your iPhone. It doesn't make sense. 😀

Right at 2:44 - 2:45. That lag on s10+ while minimizing which is non existent on iphone, makes Iphone feel much more smoother and fluid. I am not an iSheep or GalaxyFan boy. Just a customer trying to see who is better in what terms P.S. This is seen in almost all the games when minimizing them back!
@@fray5168 No you are not blind. you just have see properly. When the game app or any other app that uses landscape mode is minimized on s10+, there is a slight delay inwhich it re orients the screen to potrait. That is non existent on iphone. Have a look again please

FYI applications on the s10 only load the start up while the iPhone loads the whole tabs of the app thats why it opens faster en the s10 but when he switches tabs you can see the s10 hasn’t loaded nothing while the iPhone has all loaded up and you can see how smooth it is
Nick I just Geekbenched my product red iPhone 8 Plus w/64gb and the single core score was 4234 and the multi core score was 10645. 1320 points higher than your multi score. And yes mine has been on iOS 12.2 since update release. Something is wrong with your phone. 🤷🏻♂️

I still prefer the iPhone. Over time the Samsung is gonna slow down more and we know that Samsung doesn't support and optimize their devices as long as Apple does. The iPhone 8 plus is a older phone but still performing reasonable. With phone prices climbing I will rather hold onto a device that enjoy long term support. The Samsung performs well but that's not all I'm looking at.

All it matters how does the device runs I rather go with the s10e, has a headphone jack micro sd slot for expandable storage and a better battery than the Xs Max and why because I went to this vid and iPhone came 3rd place and s10e 2nd and 1st s10plus s10e and plus💪💪💪 I want the phone to keep up with me so Samsung.

Could have gotten the iphone X but got the iphone 8 instead, daster touch ID, better battery, better looking in my op. Screen resolution is not a big deal for me. And i dont like this new humongous screens. No privacy at all....

vikas komaragiri My iphone 6s, outperforms my friend's Samsung S8. We played NBA 2K20 and my iphone is a beast with a stock max graphics playing smoothly against Samsung S8 that needed to adjust his graphics to perform well.
these speed tests are fun to watch but it's difficult to really determine wich Phone will be better based on this. Especially when an apple Phone is being compared to an android! first of all, up untill now, apple's support and update behaviour over a longer period of time is known to be much better than samsungs. Actually, aside from perhaps Nokia, apple is better in this regard than practicly any android based brand. especially with IOS 12 and hopfully with 13 as well. Second, apple's hardware has been optimised with it's software to the point where a firmware or operating system update can even make an iPhone 6 feel fast and fluid. where as an samsung Galaxy s9 or 8 that was bought a year ago will almost never outperform an iPhone 8 or 7. So a speedtest now might turn out completly different in a year time. And i just assume that when you spend 1000 dollars/euro's on a Phone, your not planning to replace your Phone in a year. My point is that speed comparison vids are fun to watch and informative until a certain degree. One should just never use these vids alone as guidelines for buying a smartphone, imo. :) Never the less i love your video's Nick! they are informative and easy to consume and watch for both tech l.overs and average consumers. glad i subscribed!
Gaurav Ramasani I'm more concerned about stuff I do every day. Mainly browsing, maps, UA-cam, mail, calls and messages and unlocking of cause. And I also care about ergonomics and overall convenience. I prefer a button phone over a full screen phone cause it is easier to use on a go.

Rip for user samsung. How the iphone 8 and 8 plus more older than S10 and s10+ but totally more faster stable.. if using samsung for 1 year and more u can feel how the slown down samsung. Lol. Better than iphone more stable during long term usage.
I prefer the iPhone 8 because u can't accidentally touch the display while watching UA-cam and thats really messed up on the s10 besides the Samsung software is totally garbage I use nova launcher all the time
Set playback speed at 0.25 you will see that he touches iphone first when opening camera💁♂️

My iphone 6s, outperforms my friend's Samsung S8. We played NBA 2K20 and my iphone is a beast with a stock max graphics playing smoothly against Samsung S8 that needed to adjust his graphics to perform well.

these speed tests are fun to watch but it's difficult to really determine wich Phone will be better based on this. Especially when an apple Phone is being compared to an android!
first of all, up untill now, apple's support and update behaviour over a longer period of time is known to be much better than samsungs. Actually, aside from perhaps Nokia, apple is better in this regard than practicly any android based brand. especially with IOS 12 and hopfully with 13 as well. Second, apple's hardware has been optimised with it's software to the point where a firmware or operating system update can even make an iPhone 6 feel fast and fluid. where as an samsung Galaxy s9 or 8 that was bought a year ago will almost never outperform an iPhone 8 or 7.
So a speedtest now might turn out completly different in a year time. And i just assume that when you spend 1000 dollars/euro's on a Phone, your not planning to replace your Phone in a year.
My point is that speed comparison vids are fun to watch and informative until a certain degree. One should just never use these vids alone as guidelines for buying a smartphone, imo. :)

Gaurav Ramasani I'm more concerned about stuff I do every day. Mainly browsing, maps, UA-cam, mail, calls and messages and unlocking of cause. And I also care about ergonomics and overall convenience. I prefer a button phone over a full screen phone cause it is easier to use on a go.
