Speaking of driving in France: Do they require you to carry a first-aid kit in your car in France? When we lived in West Germany, when I was in preschool, it was required. I still carry the same kit in the car now, forty years later. It's designed for the kinds of injuries that are likely in car-wrecks: broken bones, external bleeding, burns. Fortunately, we've never had to use it.
Love seeing your updates ! Your home is just beautiful :) Nice to see your husband in your video also. We are having a dry spell in Michigan and also some warm temperatures for September.
Unfortunately, something happened to the audio quality when I saved the final version of this video, and I only discovered it once it had been updated. My video editing software did a big update right before I started working on this video, and I suspect they have a bug to work out. Frustrating given how much time I spend on making sure the audio quality is good.
I've just realized that the room with the well in it is that one-storey part at the back of the house, which we've seen from the outside in some of your videos. Do you have any reason to think that the well used to be outside, before the room was built around it? Do you think the walls of the well used to come up above the ground a few feet perhaps?
I love the painted door on upper hallway...
For your viewers from the US, hopefully that blue wave on your door is an indication of good things to come!
The garden is going to be lovely!

Thanks, Pam :)
"Somebody had asked the other day about this carpet-square on the floor and what it was covering"! Ha! That was I! I'm famous! LOL
You need to work on your sound, it would be a lot more enjoyable. First time watching. Looking forward to seeing more.

Yes, I think it's likely that the well used to be outdoors. The previous homeowners said the living room used to be a milking parlor.
