How can they learn from their errors if they are not held to account for what they did. I hate to say this but Dilan with her kind heart is enabling their bad behaviour towards others. There has to be some accountability so these people can take responsibility when they do wrong it's the only way of them to recognize their errors so they can learn from their mistakes and move on in the hope that they dont do it again. Dilans way of forgiving with no accountability doesn't always work it just means the bad things will continue to happen again and again.
Here Dilan is absolutely right in questioning Baran's judgement without asking her. Sabiha is her mother and no one should decide for Dilan whether she is a good or bad mother, whether she is deserving or not Dilan sees her as her mother and Baran should respect her point of view Here Baran acted possessively

I am trying to find the right words to describe the character of Baran. OK here it goes: Baran is Charming, strong in character, has authority yet is gentle when dealing with Dilan.... He is kind hearted, inspires others, is very attractive and has a magnetic pull... He definitely is captivating and is a mesmerizing character. The writers chose the perfect actor Baris Baktas to act out this type of character in Baran. What a man!!!!

It's simple. They are immersed in this series and so obsessed with Dilan, that when somebody says anything about Dilan they will automatically assume it's about Yagmur. I don't het he comments maligning Dilan's character. She's not angry that her mother has to leave. She was happy with that result. I feel like people are not ready to face the elephant in the room "Kudret", the man is actually the cause of every feud in that mansion indirectly. He's busy watching people hate on each other, running up and down while he knows the culprit. The only thing Kudret needed to do was tell everyone what Hassan did. I'm every fallout, hassan is involved because he gets information first hand. I'm tired of people blaming Dilan and all the other people. The mansion people are their own enemy. Also, since Baran was the one that almost died from the murder attempt, shouldn't he be the one to decide on Sabiha's punishment???? Once again. Dilan seems to have no moral clarity and where her first and foremost allegiance should go to: her husband; she made the vows.

Baran and his family did MUCH worse to Dilan, yet none of them got banished, handed over to the police, or were they forbidden to talk to Dilan. While Baran is right to punish Ms.Sabiha, he should have used the SAME unit of measurement in punishing her as he used for his own family, yet he did not. You might remember the tortures Ms.Azade inflicted on Dilan right from the start: she burned the stuff brought over by Hanife, including her family's photo. Dilan burned her hands while trying to save it and Ms. Azade forbid her the ointment needed to ease the pain. Then she waterboarded Dilan, making her sick, and then forbid her medical treatment. She also tried burying Dilan alive, not to mention countless instances of Dilan being starved, locked up, thrown out, denied proper clothing, insulted and humiliated every chance they got. And you might also remember how Baran dragged her in the barn, then locked her up in the attic when it suited him. Who punished the Karabeys???? Who forbid them to talk to Dilan and stop their torment??? I do not say Ms. Sabiha should not get punished, but she should get punished with the same unit of measurement as Baran's family. Unjust balances are unfair. On top of everything, Baran has decided to deny the possibility of a mother-daughter relationship, which is punishing Dilan as well for the sin of her biological mother. I fail to see the fairness of it. Don't blame Dilan for being merciful and forgiving Derya. Nobody is responsible for the consequences of what Derya did following that act of mercy but Derya herself. It was not a mistake for Baran to allow Dilan to decide the punishment for Derya as Dilan was the object of being burned alive. However, Dilan is correct in wanting Baran to consult with her about the punishment for Ms. Sabiha. After all, both of them got hurt badly in that story. It was not fair to make a decision concerning her without her input, and one that hurts Dilan as well to boot. Again, that was not just. Godly people should always be fair and just. God is love, but He is also justice. And if we follow God, we should at least do our best to be the same. Mr. Baran seems to use unjust balances when it comes to the conduct of his family compared to the conduct of strangers. Hopefully, he will see the error of his ways and correct it.

This is the start that scripwriters and director were hated. Because they made the Dilan have been a downgrade character. They made Dilan character not likeable as the story progress. Good thing changes with the crew has been made at the latter part of the season, and the Dilan character redeemed.

I am trying to find the right words to describe the character of Baran. OK here it goes: Baran is Charming, strong in character, has authority yet is gentle when dealing with Dilan.... He is kind hearted, inspires others, is very attractive and has a magnetic pull... He definitely is captivating and is a mesmerizing character. The writers chose the perfect actor Baris Baktas to act out this type of character in Baran. What a man!!!!

I don't het he comments maligning Dilan's character. She's not angry that her mother has to leave. She was happy with that result. What she's mad about is that Baran dictate no contact between SAbibha and Dilan. Not even visits and phone calls. He didn't even ask Dilan about her feelings on that part. I feel like people are not ready to face the elephant in the room "Kudret", the man is actually the cause of every feud in that mansion indirectly. He's busy watching people hate on each other, running up and down while he knows the culprit. The only thing Kudret needed to do was tell everyone what Hassan did. I'm every fallout, hassan is involved because he gets information first hand. I'm tired of people blaming Dilan and all the other people. The mansion people are their own enemy. Baran spot on concerning Sabiha. He is protecting his family. He made the mistake of letting Dilan have her way concerning Derya.
Baran and his family did MUCH worse to Dilan, yet none of them got banished, handed over to the police, or were they forbidden to talk to Dilan. While Baran is right to punish Ms.Sabiha, he should have used the SAME unit of measurement in punishing her as he used for his own family, yet he did not. You might remember the tortures Ms.Azade inflicted on Dilan right from the start: she burned the stuff brought over by Hanife, including her family's photo. Dilan burned her hands while trying to save it and Ms. Azade forbid her the ointment needed to ease the pain. Then she waterboarded Dilan, making her sick, and then forbid her medical treatment. She also tried burying Dilan alive, not to mention countless instances of Dilan being starved, locked up, thrown out, denied proper clothing, insulted and humiliated every chance they got. And you might also remember how Baran dragged her in the barn, then locked her up in the attic when it suited him. Who punished the Karabeys???? Who forbid them to talk to Dilan and stop their torment??? I do not say Ms. Sabiha should not get punished, but she should get punished with the same unit of measurement as Baran's family. Unjust balances are unfair. On top of everything, Baran has decided to deny the possibility of a mother-daughter relationship, which is punishing Dilan as well for the sin of her biological mother. I fail to see the fairness of it.
Don't blame Dilan for being merciful and forgiving Derya. Nobody is responsible for the consequences of what Derya did following that act of mercy but Derya herself. It was not a mistake for Baran to allow Dilan to decide the punishment for Derya as Dilan was the object of being burned alive. However, Dilan is correct in wanting Baran to consult with her about the punishment for Ms. Sabiha. After all, both of them got hurt badly in that story. It was not fair to make a decision concerning her without her input, and one that hurts Dilan as well to boot. Again, that was not just. Godly people should always be fair and just. God is love, but He is also justice. And if we follow God, we should at least do our best to be the same. Mr. Baran seems to use unjust balances when it comes to the conduct of his family compared to the conduct of strangers. Hopefully, he will see the error of his ways and correct it.
